Resistance Achieves Its Goals
Political analysts say that the resistance is in control. Even though Israel has been fighting a tough war, it looks like the resistance has actually achieved its goals in Al-Aqsa flood operation. On the other hand, Israel hasn't been able to achieve what it wanted.
What Were the Goals?
Let's break it down. The Islamic Resistance Movement, also known as Hamas, wanted to release Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails. But Israel had a different goal - they wanted to completely destroy Hamas. Now, it seems like the resistance is starting to achieve its goals while Israel is struggling to do the same.
Who's in Control?
According to experts, the resistance is still in control of the situation. Israel wouldn't have agreed to a truce with the resistance if they weren't forced to. They made a promise to free their detainees in Gaza, but they can't keep that promise. So, the resistance is the one calling the shots.
The Power of Images
Now, let's talk about the images we see on TV. These images show that the resistance in Gaza is the one in control. They have detainees everywhere, even in places where the Israeli army claimed to be in control. This shows that the resistance has the upper hand.
Changing the Narrative
The resistance has been able to change the way people see them. They treat the detainees they have with respect, which goes against the narrative that Israel was trying to paint. The released prisoners are not allowed to talk to the media, but they want to share their stories to let everyone know about the conditions they faced. This helps the resistance spread their message to the Palestinians and the world.
Will the Truce Continue?
Now, let's talk about the truce. There's a possibility that it might be extended to a comprehensive ceasefire. This means that both the Palestinians and Israelis might realize that continuing the war is pointless. The Israeli citizens, especially, will want the war to end once the detainees are released.
International Pressure
There are strong communications happening, and even the US President and other American officials are talking about extending the truce. If it gets extended again, talks about a ceasefire will happen. But these talks need settlement initiatives because Israel's leaders need to give in to American and Western pressure.
US Aid and Pressure
The United States is also trying to put pressure on Israel through aid. They want Israel to accept their way of managing the war. The US National Security Advisor even talked about providing conditional aid to Israel. This means that Washington wants to use aid as a way to pressure Israel into making the right decisions.
Looking Towards the Future
Qatari mediation efforts, along with Egypt and the United States, have helped reach a humanitarian truce in Gaza. It will last for 4 days, but it can be extended if needed. This is a step towards rebuilding Gaza and eventually liberating all of Palestine.
A Message of Hope
One of the freed prisoners, Hanan Barghouthi, spoke about the conditions of the prisoners and their dreams. She said that the joy of being released won't be complete until Gaza is rebuilt and Palestine is fully liberated. She also praised the resistance for challenging the Israeli army, which is known as one of the strongest armies in the world. She hopes that all prisoners will be freed as long as the resistance stays strong.
