More than 100 people lost their lives when Israeli planes bombed a house where families and displaced people were living. 

The Israeli Bombing

Video footage showed the aftermath of the Israeli bombing that targeted the Obaid family's home in the Al-Falujah area of Jabalia. Many people were injured, and there are still others missing who haven't been found yet. The house had six floors, and a lot of people were trapped under the rubble. Can you believe that there were around 50 children and 30 women in that house? They were all family members or relatives of the homeowners.

The Rescue Efforts

It's really heartbreaking to see that the citizens are struggling to search for and rescue the victims. The civil defense doesn't have enough equipment or crews to help, so the people from the neighborhood are doing their best to save lives with their own hands. They are true heroes!

The Victims

Some of the victims, including children, were taken to Kamal Adwan Hospital. It's so sad to think about the innocent lives that were lost in this tragedy. The Al Jazeera correspondent reported that nine people, mostly children, were killed in another Israeli bombing in Deir al-Balah.

Israeli Attacks in Other Areas

Not only did Jabalia suffer from the bombings, but Israeli artillery and gunboats also targeted several areas in Khan Yunis, which is in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. They even bombed three homes and three mosques in the city. This happened just a day after a truce had ended, which makes it even more devastating.
