The Israeli criminal war on the besieged Gaza Strip entered its 277th day, with the Zionist occupation forces continuing to commit acts of genocide in Gaza through dozens of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians.
Here are the highlights of the latest developments:
Massacre in Al-Nusairat
The occupation army continues its aggression on Gaza, where it committed a horrific massacre west of the Al-Nusairat refugee camp in the middle of Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 17 martyrs from the Abu Freih family, including 14 children and a woman, according to the government media office.
The office stated that this massacre comes simultaneously with the occupation committing 6 massacres in central camps, raising the number of martyrs to 29 within hours, most of whom are children and women. This is part of the genocide being carried out by the occupation army against our Palestinian people for the tenth consecutive month.
Additionally, 9 citizens, mostly children, were martyred as a result of a Zionist airstrike on Al-Bureij refugee camp in the middle of Gaza.
Al-Jazeera reported, citing medical sources that the number of martyrs has risen to 44 due to the continuous Israeli shelling on Gaza since dawn.
50 martyrs in one day
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the sector, resulting in 50 martyrs and 130 injuries admitted to hospitals within the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in its daily update that the toll of the aggression has risen to 38,243 martyrs and 88,033 injuries since October 7th.
Warning against occupation calls to evacuate from Gaza City
The government media office in Gaza warned the people of the sector against the occupation's calls to evacuate from Gaza City to the south to lure them into death traps, killings, and field executions.
The office stated that the occupation army is disseminating misleading maps that call on our Palestinian people to evacuate from Gaza City to the south to allegedly safe areas, confirming that these calls are nothing but false calls endangering the lives of citizens.
The office added that the occupation aims, behind these false calls, to lure citizens into death traps, killings, and field executions, similar to what has repeatedly occurred with dozens of field execution operations against citizens who tried to evacuate to Al-Rashid Street west of Gaza City and on Salah al-Din Street east of Gaza City. The occupation called on citizens to evacuate towards the central and southern regions of the sector, then carried out cold-blooded executions upon their arrival at military checkpoints, opening fire and resulting in dozens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded and injured.
The office confirmed that repeating these grave mistakes and tragedies makes citizens pay the price with their blood and lives, and that the plans of the Israeli occupation are exposed and evident to all the great Palestinian people.
The siege war continues
Hamas confirmed that the terrorist occupation government continues the siege war and starvation against our people in Gaza. Israel has been preventing the entry of food aid trucks for the sixty-fourth consecutive day, and settler groups are deliberately burning aid at the Kerem Abu Salem crossing.
The movement emphasized in a statement today, Tuesday, that the behavior of the enemy government and settler groups constitutes the worst form of starvation war against isolated civilians, who have been facing a comprehensive genocide for over nine months.
The movement stated: "The humanitarian disaster and famine, especially expanding and intensifying in Gaza and the north, are the result of a continuous Zionist decision, supported by the complicit US administration, to prevent the means of life from our people in the sector, despite international decisions and the orders of the International Court of Justice. International institutions have emphasized the necessity of delivering necessary aid to all areas of the Gaza Strip, which is a complete disregard for the international system and its decisions."
The movement pointed out that continuing the war of starvation threatens a humanitarian catastrophe. It also warns of the fall of more innocent children and civilians. The movement called on the international community to take immediate action to force the occupation to allow aid and relief to enter without obstacles. It called for restraining this criminal enemy, subjecting it to international laws, and bringing its criminal leaders to international courts to be held accountable for their monstrous crimes against civilians.
Resistance Operations Highlights
The Palestinian resistance continues to confront Zionist forces in several axes in Gaza, where the Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Tuesday targeting 4 Israeli tanks of the "Merkava 4" type with "Yassin 105" shells in Baghdad Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
They also stated that our fighters were able to detonate a minefield in two Israeli military bulldozers of the "D9" type, causing them to burn completely near the Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Al-Qassam fighters also managed to detonate an anti-personnel mine among the occupation soldiers, causing casualties near the Riyadh Tower west of the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.
They also detonated a ground mine in an Israeli military bulldozer of the "D9" type near the Riyadh Tower west of the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.
On the other hand, the Al-Quds Brigades stated that its fighters were engaged in fierce clashes with Zionist soldiers and vehicles in several advance axes in Gaza, using anti-personnel rockets to target a Zionist foot patrol force in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood south-west of Gaza City.
They also announced targeting the "Nir Eshak" settlement with a missile barrage, in addition to shelling with mortar shells targeting the deployment of soldiers and vehicles of the Zionist enemy near the Abd Jabr area south of the Yibna camp in Rafah City.
Lapid: Netanyahu has lost control of the war
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has lost control of everything, including his government.
Lapid added in a statement to Israeli radio station "FM 103", according to Anadolu Agency: "Netanyahu has lost control of everything, of the political system, the war, and foreign relations, and has lost control of his government."
Lapid criticized the conditions of the prisoner exchange deal with Hamas issued by the Prime Minister's office, saying: "It causes unnecessary harm, it complicates negotiations without Netanyahu intentionally making them complicated."
During his radio interview, Lapid defended his decision to grant Netanyahu's government an extension in the Knesset in case of reaching a prisoner exchange agreement and the resignation of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich due to the agreement.
He added: "Perhaps this will lead to prolonging the life of the most failed government in the country's history, but I will do it to bring back the abducted because that is more important than anything else."
Ben Gvir joins the War Council
The Hebrew broadcasting authority reported on Tuesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly approved the extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's entry into the War Council.
Sources close to Ben Gvir said that Netanyahu secretly approved the minister's request to join the limited security forum of the cabinet.
The sources added that "Netanyahu requested not to announce his approval" of the extremist right-wing minister's joining the cabinet.
