The Israeli Nazi war on the besieged Gaza Strip entered its 276th day, with the Zionist occupation forces continuing to commit genocide in Gaza through dozens of aerial bombings, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians. The following are the highlights of the latest developments:
Occupation Forces Infiltrate Gaza City
The occupation continues its aggression on Gaza, where a number of Palestinians were martyred and injured last night due to intensive airstrikes by the occupation's planes on eastern areas of Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that dozens of citizens were martyred and injured in the Daraj, Tuffah, and Old City neighborhoods as a result of the occupation's shelling of those areas.
Eyewitnesses said that the occupation warplanes launched a series of fierce airstrikes on the mentioned areas, and loud explosions were heard that shook Gaza City and echoed in the northern and central areas of the Strip.
The Palestinian Center for Information reported that forces unexpectedly infiltrated the vicinity of the universities and industry areas in the southern outskirts of the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in the south of Gaza City, amid intense shootings and fierce shelling.
It added that the occupation planes launched intense airstrikes this morning on various neighborhoods in Gaza City before advancing from two axes; the western axis and the Al-Duhdouh Square axis south of Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, and are now stationed around the universities and industry areas, besieging a number of families and displaced persons in that area.
Residents of Gaza were surprised by the incursion west of the city after evacuation orders were issued yesterday evening for the eastern Gaza area and the Daraj and Tuffah neighborhoods, where those areas witnessed a large wave of displacement towards the shelter centers to the west, while the western area witnessed intense airstrikes and a ground incursion.
Local sources also pointed out that the occupation forces stormed the headquarters of UNRWA in Gaza after carrying out a series of intense airstrikes and launching smoke bombs in its vicinity, and are still stationed there.
They explained that dozens of snipers from the occupation soldiers occupied some high-rise buildings around the headquarters of UNRWA.
40 Martyrs in one day
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 3 massacres against families in Gaza, resulting in the death of 40 martyrs and 75 injuries within the past 24 hours.
The ministry reported that the toll of the aggression has risen to 38,193 martyrs and 87,903 injuries since October 7 last year.
436 Cancer Patients Died in Gaza
Al Jazeera reported from a medical source that 436 cancer patients have died due to the blockade and lack of treatment since the start of the war on Gaza.
UNRWA: Gaza is Facing the Loss of an Entire Generation
The Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees "UNRWA", Philippe Lazzarini, said that 50% of UNRWA's institutions in Gaza have been destroyed, and more than 500 people were killed while they were in our premises.
The Commissioner-General of UNRWA added in a statement on Monday, according to the Palestinian Center for Media, that "about 250,000 people have been displaced from the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza for the sixth or seventh time," emphasizing that there is no safe place in Gaza. He confirmed, saying: "We are losing an entire generation in Gaza," calling for the need to return children to a safe educational environment.
"Hamas": Escalation of Occupation is insistence on a genocide war
Hamas stated that the Zionist occupation army's increasing aggression in Gaza City, displacing many civilian residents with brutal shelling, shows a continued genocidal war against Palestinians for over nine months, in defiance of international laws.
In a press release on Monday, the movement declared that the enemy, backed by the American administration, will not be able to defeat our people, and our resistance will persist until driving them away from our land, despite their brutal actions.
It advised the international community and the United Nations to take action to stop the occupation army from increasing its killings of civilians, as the health sector is being destroyed and hospitals are being shut down. The leaders of the occupation should be held responsible for their crimes against our people.
Highlights of Resistance Operations
The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the invading Zionist forces on multiple fronts in Gaza, as the Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Monday targeting the occupation forces stationed in the "Netzarim" axis with a number of 114mm rockets.
The Al-Quds Brigades also announced shelling a command center for the Zionist enemy on the supply line in the "Netzarim" axis with mortar shells.
It added that it shelled the Zionist enemy's gatherings with mortar shells and detonated two Zionist military vehicles with pre-planted explosive devices in the advancement axis in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza City.
Zionist General: Continuing the fighting will make "Israel's" defeat painful
Retired Zionist General Isaac Brick affirmed that continuing the fighting in Gaza will not contribute at all to achieving victory, but Israel's defeat will be more painful, according to the Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz".
The Hebrew newspaper quoted Brick as saying: "If Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects the deal again, it will be like a nuclear bomb dropped on us, and we will lose the captives forever and be on the brink of a regional war."
He added: "If the Israeli army is unable to defeat Hamas, then it is certain that it will not be able to defeat Hezbollah.
