Day 162 of the Israeli Genocidal War on Gaza

On the 162nd day of the genocidal war on Gaza, the Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks, causing more casualties and destruction. International relief organizations are warning about the worsening starvation crisis in the region.

7 Massacres

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported 7 new massacres in the past 24 hours, resulting in over 60 deaths and around 100 injuries. Civilian homes were targeted, including a house belonging to the Mutair family and another house in the Nuseirat camp where 36 people, mostly children and women, lost their lives.

Battles and Resistance

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades, military wings of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Movement, respectively, engaged in battles with Israeli forces. They reported killing Israeli soldiers and targeting tanks and vehicles.

Humanitarian Crisis

Reports of a Palestinian stampede for aid in Beit Lahia resulted in casualties. The humanitarian crisis in the northern Gaza Strip is worsening due to food shortages caused by Israeli restrictions on aid entry.

Truce Talks

Ceasefire talks are ongoing, with Israeli officials expected in Qatar. The White House expressed cautious optimism after Hamas proposed a ceasefire plan.

Protests in Israel

Massive demonstrations in Israel demanded the release of detainees in Gaza. Protesters called for the dismissal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and early elections.
