The Secret Cyber War

While the Gaza battle rages on, there is another war happening in secret on the internet. It's a cyber war, where hackers are targeting the Israeli Ministry of Defense and other companies.

Hacking IKEA and Israeli Companies

A group of hackers called "Cyber Toufan Operations" recently claimed responsibility for hacking into several Israeli websites. They stole files from a web hosting company called Signature-IT, which serves companies like Ace, Shefa Online, Home Center, Auto Depot, and even IKEA.

The hackers also managed to breach the Israeli Ministry of Defense and obtained millions of data on reserve soldiers and the Israeli army.

A Massive Hack

A report confirmed that Signature-IT was massively hacked. The stolen files included employee and customer details, as well as transaction information. It seems that the hackers' intention was to cause harm, rather than to ask for a ransom.

The hackers stole about 16 gigabytes of data, including information from various websites stored on Signature-IT's servers. This hosting company serves government offices, organizations, and large companies.

Hacking the Ministry of Defense

In a video posted by the Cyber Flood Al-Aqsa group, a masked man claimed that they successfully hacked into the Israeli Ministry of Defense. He revealed information about the Israeli North Gaza Military Division, including the names of soldiers, their ranks, service numbers, and even their places of residence.

The masked man also mentioned that they obtained information and pictures of soldiers with dual nationality from countries like Canada, Belgium, and Ukraine.

Racists and Sick People

In another video, a masked man from the Al-Aqsa Cyber Flood Squad shared "very private" information about the evaluations of Israeli soldiers by their superiors and their medical information. He revealed that some soldiers were labeled with the word "black" next to their names, indicating their skin color and reflecting a racist view within the occupation army.

The hackers also found embarrassing information about soldiers' personal lives and mental illnesses in their secret files.

Great Penetration Capabilities

The Israeli Ministry of Defense and media channels did not confirm the hacking incident. However, experts believe that this group has significant capabilities, considering the magnitude of hacking into such a high-profile target.

The identity of the attackers remains unknown, but it is suspected that they received help from Iran, which has the resources to carry out cyber attacks.

The Growing Cyber Threat

During times of crisis, the threat of cyber-attacks increases. In mid-October, there was an 18% increase in cyber-attacks on Israel. The shortage of manpower due to reserve soldiers being called up and the vulnerability of defense systems in organizations and companies make them more susceptible to attacks.

Organizations are becoming more aware of the damage that cyber-attacks can cause, not only economically but also to their reputation. It is crucial for organizations to focus on early detection, quick response, and comprehensive security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
