Millions Protest Worldwide

More than 5 million people in Europe and America are standing up against the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. It's really sad because over 10,000 innocent people, mostly women and children, have been killed by Israel in this war.

Europe Stands Up

Many people in Europe are really angry about what's happening in Gaza. Even though the police tried to stop them, there were demonstrations in many cities. In Germany alone, there were protests in 11 different cities, like Berlin and Hamburg. France also had a big demonstration in Paris, which was the first one since the war on Gaza started.

Protests Spread Across Europe

Nevertheless, it is not just Germany and France. Many other European countries also had massive demonstrations. In the UK, people protested in London, Manchester, Sheffield, and Belfast. Scandinavian countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Norway also joined in. Thousands of people came out in cities like Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo.

Protests in Other European Capitals

It's not just the big cities that are protesting. Even smaller cities in Europe are standing up against the war. Places like Valencia in Spain and Eindhoven in the Netherlands had huge demonstrations. Other European capitals like Brussels, Vienna, Bern, Dublin, Warsaw, and Athens also saw protests. Demonstrations are happening all over the continent!

Protests in America and Canada

People in the United States and Canada are also showing their support for Gaza. In Washington, DC, more than 300,000 people gathered for the biggest demonstration the city has ever seen. New York and Montreal also had protests with hundreds and thousands of participants, respectively.

Demands for Ceasefire

Most of the demonstrators are demanding an immediate ceasefire. They are angry at their governments for supporting the Israeli war on Gaza, which is causing so much harm to innocent people and destroying important infrastructure.

Support from Parliamentarians and Artists

Even politicians and artists are joining the protests. Members of parliament and famous artists from Western countries are standing up against the war. Many activists from left-wing parties are also participating in the demonstrations.

Some of the protests have led to arrests by the police. In London, 29 people were arrested after the demonstration ended. But in other cities, there were no such incidents.

More Protests Planned

Next Saturday, there will be even more demonstrations in Europe. In London, organizers are planning a million-man march on November 11. People from all over Britain will come together to show their solidarity. This demonstration is causing controversy because it coincides with the commemoration of the victims of World War II on the same day.
