Al-Quds Brigades' Willingness to Release 2 POWs

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, has expressed its readiness to release 2 POWs for humanitarian reasons.

They have also shown solidarity with the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.

Release of Mrs. Hanna Katsir

In a video recording aired on Al Jazeera, Abu Hamza, the military spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, announced their willingness to release Mrs. Hanna Katsir due to humanitarian and health concerns. He emphasized that they might not be able to provide her with proper healthcare due to the lack of essential resources like medicine, fuel, and electricity.

Release of Yagil Yaqoub

Abu Hamza also stated that the Al-Quds Brigades are prepared to release Yagil Yaqoub, a young boy, for humanitarian reasons. Despite the presence of numerous Palestinian children in Israeli prisons, they believe his young age warrants special consideration.

Conditions for Release

The initiative to release detainees will only be implemented if the appropriate conditions are met on the ground and in terms of security.

Al-Quds Brigades' Role in the Al-Aqsa Flood

The Al-Quds Brigades have declared themselves an integral part of the Al-Aqsa flood and stand united with the Al-Qassam Brigades. They contribute to the fight with various military tactics, including artillery, missiles, elite snipers, and armored formations that repel tank columns and enemy forces on all fronts.

Steadfastness of the Palestinian People

Abu Hamza praised the resilience of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are enduring an extermination war. Despite facing bombings and bloodshed, they remain steadfast in their struggle for freedom.

Facing a Global War

Abu Hamza highlighted that the Palestinians are confronting a global war aimed at annihilating their people. The enemy is targeting everything, including their prisoners who are currently held by the Al-Quds Brigades and the Resistance Brigades.
