Conclusion of the Sixth Al-Mutawa Award for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran
The Distinguished Mabarat Al-Mutamayyeen for Serving the Holy Qur’an and Sharia Sciences, along with the Ministry of Education and the support of Ahl Al-Kuwait Mabarat, recently held the closing ceremony of the sixth Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Mutawa Award. This award is for male and female teachers of the Ministry of Education who have memorized and recited the Holy Quran. The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani.
Maryam Al-Anazi, the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities and representative of the Minister of Education, expressed her gratitude for the technical guidance of the Islamic education subject and thanked the Al-Mutawa family and all the honorable families who are interested in Quran memorization and recitation competitions.
Dr. Ghanem Al-Kandari, the Acting General Technical Director for Islamic Education, noted that the Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Mutawa competition is specifically for male and female teachers in the Ministry of Education. He also mentioned that there has been a significant increase in the number of participants over the years, indicating the positive impact of this competition on teachers and students alike.
Kuwait University Celebrates National Day and Liberation Day
Kuwait University recently held a celebration titled "May you always be proud, my country, and may knowledge be a cradle" to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of National Day and the 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day. The Dorra Field Issue: Iran Calls for Dialogue
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has called for dialogue to resolve the issue of the Dorra (Arsh) field with Kuwait. The ministry spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, stated that Iran believes in the possibility of reaching an agreement through cooperation and respect for common interests. Iran is ready to continue negotiations in a friendly and practical atmosphere to find a mutually agreed-upon solution.
Kanaani emphasized that presenting unilateral allegations in statements and media does not contribute to resolving the issue. A joint Kuwaiti-Bahraini statement confirmed that the entire Durra field is located in the marine areas of Kuwait, and Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have joint ownership of the natural resources in the submerged area adjacent to the divided Kuwaiti-Saudi zone.
The statement asserted that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have the sole right to exploit the natural resources in that region and rejected any claims of rights by other parties.
