Hamas affirmed that the brave martyr leader Yahya Sinwar rose up in battle, after leading the greatest battle in the history of our Palestinian people "The Aqsa Tempest", moving throughout an entire year on the frontlines in various areas of the Gaza Strip, leading the ranks of our courageous people's resistance fighters, to the point where the image of Sinwar became a global icon of the resistant human being.

They continued: The leader Sinwar sealed his eventful life of jihad and struggle with martyrdom as he wished, heading towards it willingly, to illuminate the path of freedom and salvation for our people, and to purify the land and sanctities from the filth of the fascist Zionists.

The leader of the battle "Al-Aqsa Flood" Yahya Sinwar was martyred on Wednesday, October 16th, in an unplanned armed confrontation with a Zionist force in Rafah.
