Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" entered its 348th day, while the Zionist occupation forces continue to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip by launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, in addition to committing bloody massacres against civilians.
20 martyrs in two massacres
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed two massacres in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of 20 people and the injury of 54 others in the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed that the death toll from the aggression has risen to 41,272 martyrs and 95,551 injuries since October 7.
4 Soldiers killed in a "Qassam" ambush
The occupation forces admitted that 4 of its soldiers were killed and 5 others were injured in an ambush carried out by the Qassam Brigades yesterday, Tuesday, in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, blew up a building housing a Zionist force using a highly explosive device, killing four soldiers instantly, including a female military doctor, according to Al Jazeera Net.
Hamas denounces Arab media outlet
Hamas has expressed its condemnation of an Arab media outlet’s segmentation of an interview conducted by the New York Times with the movement’s leader abroad, Khaled Meshaal, and considered it an attempt to distort the movement’s position.
Hisham Qassem, a member of Hamas’ leadership abroad, stressed the movement’s firm position on negotiations and its keenness to achieve the interests of the Palestinian people, including stopping the aggression and complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the return of the displaced, and rebuilding what the occupation destroyed, leading to a real prisoner exchange deal.
Qassem called on the media outlet that distorted the position to adhere to the truth and respect professional media principles.
Occupation arrests more than 40 Palestinians
Since yesterday until Wednesday morning, the occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign that included more than 40 citizens from the West Bank, including former prisoners, according to the Palestinian News Agency.
The arrests and field investigations were concentrated in the governorates of Salfit and Hebron, and the campaign is still ongoing in the Fawwar camp.
The arrests were accompanied by attacks and severe beatings against the detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of sabotage and destruction of homes.
The death toll rose to 12 in Lebanon
Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad said today, Wednesday: The death toll from the explosions of wireless communication devices (pagers) in Lebanon has risen to 12 people, including two children.
He pointed out that the number of injured reached between 2,750 and 2,800, including about 300 serious injuries, including children and women, not just Hezbollah members.
Several countries have announced sending medical aid to Lebanon.
Mutual shelling between Hezbollah and Zionist entity
The Zionist air defenses intercepted two Hezbollah drones over the Tiberias and Nahariya areas, while the occupation aircraft bombed towns in southern Lebanon.
This comes amid anticipation of an expected speech by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah tomorrow, Thursday.
The sources reported that sirens sounded several times in towns in the Upper Galilee, and the sound of a huge explosion was heard near Safed in the Galilee, and it was later announced that a missile had fallen in the area, launched from Lebanon, according to Al Jazeera.
Anticipation for a UN resolution against the occupation
The United Nations General Assembly is preparing today, Wednesday, to adopt a draft resolution submitted by the Palestinian Authority, calling on the occupying state to end its “illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territories” within a period not exceeding 12 months, according to the Al Jazeera Net website.
The draft resolution aims to confirm the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice issued last July, which considered the occupation of the Palestinian territories illegal and that “Israel” must withdraw from it.
