Hamas : The Occupation Massacre of Journalists Requires Firm Stance
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated that a new group of journalists is joining the martyrs of the genocide war carried out by the Zionist occupation army against our defenseless people in Gaza, with all its components, after targeting the criminal killing machine over the past hours, resulting in the martyrdom of five journalists with their families.
The movement emphasized in a statement to the press today, Saturday, that the massacre carried out by the terrorist occupation government against journalists and the media indicates the occupation's lack of concern for the consequences of violating international laws that emphasize their protection and facilitate their work. Hamas calls for a firm stance from the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations against the occupation, and calls for urgent measures to stop the massacres and hold the leaders of the occupation accountable for their ongoing crimes.
It called on journalists, media personalities, international journalistic and media institutions to support their Palestinian journalist colleagues, work to complete their mission that the fascist occupation is trying to erase, provide all forms of support and backing for them, and expose the monstrous occupation's crimes against them.
Palestinian Rejection International Forces in Gaza.
The national and Islamic work factions have strongly rejected any statements or plans that support the deployment of any international forces in the Gaza Strip. In a statement released today, Saturday, the factions called on Arab brothers to take serious action to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people and their resources and holy sites, and to reject and confront any proposals that undermine their rights, dignity, and sovereignty on their land.
The factions of national work emphasized that the presence of any international force in the Gaza Strip is a form of occupation and imposition of guardianship, which they completely reject.
Resistance Operations
The Palestinian resistance continues to confront Zionist forces in multiple axes in Gaza, where the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced today the detonation of an anti-personnel "TV3" mine targeting a Zionist foot force, resulting in casualties in the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.
The al-Qassam fighters also completely destroyed a Zionist "Merkava 4" tank with an "Shawath 3" mine, causing it to catch fire on Baghdad Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood.
They also fired rockets at the "Nahal Oz" military site, and shelled enemy forces infiltrating the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City with mortar shells.
On the other hand, the Al-Quds Brigades confirmed that they inflicted casualties among a Zionist force of 7 members, including killed and wounded, during an ambush and confrontation using appropriate weapons on Khulafa Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood.
They also shelled soldiers and vehicles of the Zionist enemy in the "Abu Aribaan" location on the "Netzarim" axis.
Furthermore, the Al-Quds Brigades targeted the military site of "Sufa" and military gatherings with a barrage of heavy mortar shells.
They also targeted the settlement of "Sderot" in the Gaza envelope with a missile barrage.
