The genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip has entered its 260th day, with the Zionist occupation forces continuing to commit war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and various murders in the Gaza Strip, by launching dozens of air strikes, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians.
Two massacres in Gaza City
The occupation continues its aggression against Gaza, as Palestinian sources reported the death and injury of dozens, most of them children and women, in two massacres committed by the occupation forces. In Al-Shati refugee camp (west) and Al-Tuffah neighborhood (east) of Gaza City.
The Civil Defense in Gaza said: At least 19 Palestinians were killed in a bombing that targeted a residential house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and a number of others were injured. Also, 24 Palestinians were martyred and a number of others were injured in raids on homes in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City, according to what Al Jazeera Net reported.
The government media office in Gaza reported that the occupation army has targeted 4 neighborhoods in Gaza City since this morning, namely: (Al-Shati Camp, Al-Tuffah, Al-Shuja’iya, and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods), which led to the number of martyrs rising to 38, and that 14 missing people are still under the rubble of homes. And the buildings bombed by the occupation, in addition to 50 injuries, including serious cases.
101 martyrs within 24 hours
The occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 101 deaths and 169 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry confirmed that the toll of the aggression had risen to 37,551 martyrs and 85,911 injuries since the seventh of last October.
“Hamas”: The occupation’s crimes will not succeed in breaking the will of our people
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that the Nazi-Zionist enemy continues its brutal targeting of defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip. It is carrying out new massacres against children, women, and the elderly, by bombing a residential square in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City, and the Al-Tuffah and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, and by targeting the tents of the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis and Rafah. Which led to the rise of dozens of martyrs, in the continuation of the crime of genocide that has been ongoing for more than eight months, and in complete disregard and disdain for all laws and laws that criminalize targeting civilians.
The movement stressed in a press statement today, Saturday, that this horrific series of Zionist crimes against civilians; It requires more effective and serious action from the international community and its institutions, forcing the criminal entity to stop its crimes and violations against our defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas reiterated that the occupation and its Nazi leaders will pay the price for their violations against our Palestinian people. Moreover, these crimes will not succeed in breaking the will of our people, or dissuading them from continuing on the path of struggle and resistance, until the aggression is broken, the occupation is expelled from our land, and our independent Palestinian state is established with Jerusalem as its capital.
Prominent resistance operations
The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the Zionist forces penetrating into several areas of Gaza, as the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” the military wing of the Hamas movement, presented today, Saturday, the bombing of a gathering of enemy soldiers and vehicles with mortar shells near the Awadallah Junction in the Yabna camp, south of the city of Rafah.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it bombed, with a missile salvo, a position of Zionist enemy soldiers on the supply line in the “Netzarim” axis, south of Gaza City.
It added that it had directly injured a number of occupation soldiers stationed at the outer gate of the Rafah crossing and its surroundings during its shelling of them with mortar shells.
Prominent American Official Resigned
US Deputy Secretary of State for Israeli-Palestinian Affairs, Andrew Miller, announced his resignation from his position, in the latest episode of a series of resignations from the administration of President Joe Biden, against the backdrop of its position on the “Israeli” war on the Gaza Strip, according to “Anatolia” Agency.
Miller provided family justifications for his resignation, as the Washington Post reported that the prominent employee of the US State Department informed his colleagues that he had submitted his resignation from his job because he had seen his family little for 8 months.
The newspaper quoted Miller as saying that the ongoing attacks in Gaza had exhausted everything, and that if it were not for family reasons, he would have preferred to remain in his job and continue the struggle with the administration with which he disagreed regarding Gaza’s policies.
“Anadolu Agency” reported that Miller has been a strong supporter of Palestinian rights for a long time, and criticized Biden’s approach, which he called a “bear hug” towards the “Israeli” attacks on Gaza that have been ongoing for 8 months.
