The genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip has entered its 259th day, with the Zionist occupation forces continuing to commit war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and various murders in the Gaza Strip, by launching dozens of air strikes, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians.
34 Martyrs since Dawn Today
The occupation continues its aggression against Gaza, as Palestinian sources reported that at least 20 citizens were martyred and dozens were injured in the occupation’s bombing of the central and northern Gaza Strip.
An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that 14 people were killed and more than 40 others were injured as the occupation bombed the tents of displaced people west of Rafah.
High Toll of Aggression
The occupation committed two massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 10 martyrs and 73 injuries reaching hospitals within 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza indicated that the toll of the aggression against Gaza that has been ongoing since October 7 has risen to 37,347 martyrs and 85,372 wounded.
Prominent Resistance Operations
The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the Zionist forces penetrating into several areas of Gaza. Today, Friday, the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” the military wing of the “Hamas” movement, showed scenes of a bombardment of the occupation forces’ command and control site with mortar shells in the Netzarim axis, east of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, which led to the death of two Zionist soldiers.
The “Al-Qassam” Brigades also bombed the crowds of the occupation forces penetrating south of the Juhr al-Dik area, east of the Central Governorate, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
“Al-Quds Brigades,” the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said: Its fighters targeted a Zionist helicopter with a “Sam 18” (Igla) missile east of the city of Rafah during its return from the process of evacuating the dead and wounded in the Shaboura ambush yesterday afternoon, Thursday.
It added that it bombed with mortar shells the headquarters of the Zionist occupation leadership and concentrations of its soldiers and vehicles at the “Abu Oreiban site” in the “Netzarim” axis.
The brigades also announced that they bombed the Be'eri settlement in the Gaza Strip with a missile salvo.
Armenia Recognizes the State of Palestine
The Republic of Armenia announced its official recognition of the State of Palestine, bringing the number of recognized states to 149 out of 193 states in the United Nations General Assembly.
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, today, Friday, according to Anadolu Agency: “The catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and the ongoing military conflict is one of the fundamental issues on the international political agenda that requires a solution.”
The ministry statement said: “The Republic of Armenia has joined the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.”
Occupation Army Losses within 24 Hours
The occupation army announced that two soldiers were killed and eight others were injured in an ambush on the “Netzarim” axis, which was carried out by the Palestinian resistance yesterday, Thursday, in Gaza, according to the “Palestinian Information Center.”
Maariv newspaper explained that reserve assistant “Omer Smadja” (25 years old) and reserve assistant “Saadia Deri” (27 years old), both from Golani’s Iskenderun Brigade, were killed instantly, while eight soldiers were injured, three of them in critical condition.
Hebrew media also reported that five “Israeli” soldiers were transferred to Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, and the wounds of two of them were described as serious. Army Radio announced that two soldiers were seriously injured by an anti-tank missile in Rafah.
The army announced that two reserve soldiers were killed in a mortar attack carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades near the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City yesterday, Thursday.
Earlier, the army announced that 6 soldiers were injured during the past 24 hours in the Gaza battles, according to Al Jazeera Net.
American Magazine: “Hamas” Wins in Gaza
The American magazine “Foreign Affairs” reported today, Friday, that the “Hamas” movement has become stronger today than it was on October 7, 2023, and the Palestinian issue has also become more popular and attractive, according to what was reported by “Rai Al-Youm” newspaper.
The magazine said in a report: After nine months of “Israeli” combat operations in the Gaza Strip, Hamas has not been defeated and is not close to that either.
The magazine indicated that Hamas is still capable of attacking “Israel.” It is likely to have about 15,000 equipped fighters, and more than 80% of its network of underground tunnels is still usable for planning, storing weapons, and carrying out attacks, and most of Hamas's senior leadership in Gaza is intact.
