The war of genocide waged by Israel against the besieged Gaza Strip has entered its 249th day, amidst the Zionist occupation forces continuing to commit war crimes against civilians, including women, children, and the elderly in the Gaza Strip, by launching dozens of air strikes, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians.
More Than 20 Martyrs since Dawn Today
The occupation continues its aggression against Gaza, as an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that the occupation forces opened fire on the tents of displaced people in the Mawasi Rafah area, south of the Gaza Strip, confirming the death of two young men and the wounding of another in a raid that targeted the west of the city.
The reporter also confirmed the death and injury of two Palestinians in an “Israeli” bombing that targeted an inhabited house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
He added that 3 Palestinians were martyred and 5 people were injured when occupation aircraft bombed a house in Al Khawalda in the middle of the Gaza Strip, and that 8 people were martyred as a result of an “Israeli” bombing that targeted a house in the Al Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City.
The reporter said: “Israeli” raids targeted a house on Al-Ma’am Street in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City, and that civil defense teams and ambulance crews transported the bodies of the martyrs and a number of the wounded to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the center of the Strip.
In Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, 8 people were martyred and others were injured in an “Israeli” bombing that targeted a house in the town of Al-Fukhari.
3 Massacres Within 24 Hours
The occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 40 martyrs and 120 injuries during the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health.
Thus, the toll of the aggression rises to 37,164 martyrs and 84,832 injuries since the seventh of last October.
Prominent Resistance Operations
The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the Zionist forces penetrating into several areas of Gaza, as the “Jerusalem Brigades,” the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced today, Tuesday, the bombing of the “Kissufim” military site on the Gaza Strip with a missile salvo.
The brigades added that they sniped a Zionist soldier in the “Netzarim” axis, south of Tel al-Hawa in Gaza City.
The occupation announces the end of its aggression in the Gaza Strip
The occupation army announced, today, Tuesday, the end of its aggression against the central Gaza Strip, about 6 days after it began.
The Anadolu Agency quoted the occupation army as saying: “The forces of the 98th Division completed their mission and the joint division’s attack east of Deir al-Balah and east of Bureij, above and below ground.”
Hamas Welcomes a Decision to Cease-fire
Yesterday, Monday, the UN Security Council adopted an American draft resolution supporting the ceasefire plan in Gaza, and an unconditional implementation of the proposed deal announced by US President Joe Biden.
The American draft resolution stipulates “a permanent ceasefire, complete withdrawal from Gaza, prisoner exchange, reconstruction, the return of displaced persons, and the rejection of any demographic change in the Strip,” according to “Al Jazeera Net.”
For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) welcomed and emphasized what was included in the Security Council resolution regarding a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, complete withdrawal, prisoner exchange, reconstruction, and the return of displaced persons to their areas of residence. It also affirmed the rejection of any demographic change or reduction in the area of the Gaza Strip, and demanded the necessary aid for our people in the Strip.
The movement confirmed in a press statement yesterday, Monday, its readiness to cooperate with mediators to enter into indirect negotiations on the implementation of these principles that are in line with the demands of our people and our resistance.
It also affirmed its continued endeavor and struggle with all of our people to achieve their national rights, foremost of which is defeating the occupation and establishing its independent, fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return and self-determination.
International Conference for Gaza
Today, Tuesday, Jordan hosted an international conference on emergency humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip in light of the continued suffering of the residents of the Strip, which has been subjected to Zionist aggression since last October 7.
The conference is being held jointly organized by the United Nations, Jordan and Egypt, and includes leaders of states, heads of government, and heads of international humanitarian and relief organizations. It aims to identify ways to enhance the international community’s response to the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip.
The conference participants called for allowing humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip and to put pressure on the occupation not to use the weapon of starvation against the residents of the Gaza Strip. They stressed that there is no safe zone in Gaza, according to Al Jazeera Net.
