Prominent Updates on the 159th Day of the Ongoing Israeli Aggression on Gaza

Israeli Raids and Attacks

On the 159th day of the war on Gaza, the Israeli army continued its raids on different areas of the Gaza Strip. They even targeted an aid distribution center run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Rafah

Massacres in Gaza

The Israeli forces committed 10 massacres in Gaza in just one day, resulting in 88 deaths and 135 injuries. This brings the total number of casualties since the start of the war to 31,272 deaths and 73,024 injuries, with many of them being women and children.

Additionally, 27 children in northern Gaza died due to malnutrition and lack of infant formula. Five people were killed when an Israeli bomb hit the largest UNRWA warehouse in southern Gaza.

Resistance Operations

The resistance fighters continued to battle the Israeli army in different parts of the Gaza Strip. The Al-Quds Brigades shared images of their fighters targeting Israeli vehicles and groups in Gaza City.

They also detonated a bomb near an Israeli force in Hamad Town. The Israeli army managed to stop two divers from infiltrating near the northern shores of Gaza.

Gaza Families and International Relations

Families in Gaza refused to cooperate with Israel, except through the security services in the Strip. There were disagreements between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the handling of the war in Gaza.

 Martyrs and Detainees in the West Bank

In the West Bank, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in Jenin, while three others died in Jerusalem. Ten people were also arrested in different areas of the West Bank.

Qassami Assassination in Lebanon

Two people were killed in an Israeli raid in southern Lebanon, targeting a Palestinian from the Rashidiya camp. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) mourned the death of one of its fighters in the raid.

Hezbollah's Actions

Hezbollah carried out attacks against Israeli forces near the Lebanese border. They targeted an Israeli site with artillery shells. In response, Israeli warplanes bombed areas in Lebanon, causing damage to buildings.

Bombing on Hodeidah

In Yemen, Hodeidah International Airport was bombed by American and British forces. A Greek frigate also fired on drones in the Gulf of Aden to protect a commercial ship from potential attacks by the Houthis.
