Al-Qassam Brigades Announce Destruction of Israeli Vehicles
The Al-Qassam Brigades, a Palestinian militant group, announced that they destroyed 28 Israeli vehicles within 24 hours in various fighting fronts in the Gaza Strip. They also claimed to have killed a number of Israeli soldiers and bombed Tel Aviv with missile salvos. However, the Israeli army denies being defeated by the resistance movement.
Al-Qassam Mujahideen's Success
Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, stated that they completely or partially destroyed 28 military vehicles in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours. They targeted the Israeli forces with anti-fortified shells and anti-personnel devices, engaging in close combat and causing casualties among the Israeli soldiers. The Al-Qassam artillery also launched intense missile barrages at various targets in Israeli cities.
Islamic Jihad's Actions
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, also targeted Israeli military vehicles and clashed with occupation soldiers in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. They used tandem shells to blow up an Israeli military vehicle and targeted two others in a different area.
Targeting Israeli Soldiers
The Palestinian resistance targeted Israeli army forces in several areas of the Gaza Strip. The Al-Qassam Brigades engaged in a clash with an occupation foot force, resulting in casualties among the Israeli soldiers. They also bombed an Israeli special force inside a building with a TPG shell. The Al-Quds Brigades bombed Israeli military crowds with mortar shells.
Bombing Tel Aviv and Settlements
In response to Israeli attacks on civilians, the Al-Qassam Brigades bombed Tel Aviv and settlements such as Netivot, Sderot, and Beersheba with missile barrages. They targeted specific sites and settlements with rocket systems and missile salvos. The Jerusalem Brigades also bombed settlements with missile attacks.
Israeli Army's Admission and Progress
The Israeli army admitted that three soldiers were killed and one was seriously injured in battles in the northern and central Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the army stated that they are close to completing their mission in the northern Gaza Strip and have made progress in destroying the Hamas stronghold. However, the operation is challenging due to the difficult terrain.
Khan Yunis as a Battlefield
The Israeli army also mentioned their forceful actions against Hamas in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. They described the city's Salah al-Din Street as a battlefield but allowed the movement of civilians through a bypass axis. The residents of Khan Yunis were previously asked to evacuate towards Rafah.
Ground Operation and Safe Zone
The Israeli army initiated its ground operation in the Gaza Strip, starting in the north and expanding to the south. They asked the residents of the north to move to the south, considering it a "safe zone."
