Al-Qassam Brigades Strikes Back
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, recently announced that they have caused significant casualties among Israeli soldiers during multiple attacks in Gaza. They claim to have killed six soldiers at close range, while the Israeli army admits to the killing of seven officers and soldiers, with four others wounded in the battles on Sunday.
In a post on Telegram, the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that they targeted two troop carriers, a tank, and an Israeli foot force that had taken shelter in a school near Al-Rantisi Hospital. They also claimed to have destroyed 29 Zionist vehicles in various areas, including Al-Tawam, Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Al-Zaytoun.
The brigades further reported that their fighters successfully attacked a house in the Juhr al-Dik area, where a large number of occupation soldiers were stationed. They used anti-fortification TPG shells and an anti-personnel missile to strike the house before storming it and eliminating the remaining soldiers.
Additionally, the resistance bombed the Israeli Tselem military base and targeted crowds of occupation vehicles in the southern Gaza axis with missile attacks.
Israeli Army's Losses
On the other hand, the Israeli army confirmed the deaths of seven officers and soldiers, including a major, and the injury of four others in the Gaza battles. Two new soldiers from the elite Givati Brigade were among the casualties.
Since the start of the Israeli ground incursion into the Gaza Strip on October 27, the recognized death toll on the Israeli side has reached approximately 64. However, the Palestinian resistance claims that the actual losses suffered by the occupation forces are much higher.
Since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle on October 7, the number of dead officers and soldiers, whose names have been allowed to be published by the Israeli army, has reached 385.
Retreat of Israeli Tanks
According to Al Jazeera's correspondent, Israeli tanks have been retreating in certain areas of Gaza and its north due to intense clashes with the Al-Qassam Brigades.
Al Jazeera recently aired new footage obtained from the Al-Qassam Brigades, showing their fighters targeting Israeli tanks and vehicles in Gaza City. The footage also includes military uniforms, necklaces, and equipment belonging to Israeli soldiers.
The scenes depict the battles fought by the Al-Qassam Brigades in various areas of Gaza City, with fighters moving through streets and destroyed buildings. They can be seen targeting Israeli tanks and vehicles from close distances using Al-Yassin 105 shells and guerrilla action devices.
