 A Tragic Act of Terrorism

The head of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, expressed his deep sorrow over the assassination of Saleh Al-Arouri, the deputy head of the movement's political bureau. Haniyeh condemned this act as a "full-fledged act of terrorism" and a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty. He also announced the martyrdom of six others who were killed in the same attack.

The Loss of Brave Leaders

In a televised speech, Haniyeh revealed that the Israeli occupation targeted and killed two leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Samir Effendi and Azzam Al-Aqraa, along with four other Hamas members: Mahmoud Zaki Shaheen, Muhammad Bashasha, Muhammad Al-Rayes, and Ahmed Hammoud.

Mourning a Hero

Haniyeh emphasized that they will continue the path of the martyrs with even greater determination. He mourned the loss of the courageous leader, Saleh Al-Arouri, and stated that his sacrifice, along with his brothers, is intertwined with the struggle of the Palestinian people for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.

Resilience and Resistance

Haniyeh declared that the occupation will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance. He stressed that the consequences of this terrorist act will be faced by the Nazi-Zionist occupation.

A Call for Action

Hamas announced the martyrdom of Al-Arouri and other members in an Israeli attack on their office in Beirut. In response, Palestinian factions issued a joint statement calling for retaliation against Israel in all arenas and fronts.
