Just Peace for Development

Yesterday in Cairo the Minister of Information and Culture, Mr Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, opened the Third World Forum for Just Peace Culture The Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation was the host of this function.

Opening Remarks

Al-Mut’airi said that he feels delighted to have a meeting in Egypt and expresses his gratitude to everyone for their work. Additionally, he explained his gratitude to the president, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He thanked the Egyptian Minister of Culture and vice chairman of the Board of Patronage of Al-Babtain cultural Foundation for cooperation.

Greetings and Wishes

Al-Mutairi paid his respects on behalf of the Amir and Prime Minister of Kuwait. Mr. Guevara wished the forum success and development for the benefit of all the involved countries.

Leading Initiatives

Al-Mutairi has made a praise to Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation for stimulating the process of peace and cultural integration. His speech placed great emphasis on the foundation's results in helping to build trust and cooperation between our cultures.

Global Forum

Peace was under the microscope as it is a potent instrument for development 'More so,' Mutairi highlighted the vital role of exchange/intercommunicating between experts, intellectuals and creators. Attention was paid to the important role of peace as a basic requirement for all aspects of development.

Human Thought

Al-Mutairi underlined Kuwait's backing of the Palestinian cause and invited the world community to make the Palestinian question known. He expressed his discontent over Israeli violations of the rights of Palestinians and called on the global community to bring the occupation of the Palestinian lands to an end.

Promote Peace

The Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation received praises from the former president of the Turkish Republic Abdallah Gul for its peace-promoting actions. Moreover, he brought up the Middle East which was at the center of many conflicts, concerns especially the Palestinian issue. Gul highlighted the necessity of searching for a complete and fair method towards the conflict ending.
