The Departure of a Beloved Leader
Today, 16th Dec., the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, passed away after his health worsened and he was hospitalized. This news brought immense sadness to Kuwait, as well as the Arab and Islamic world. Many notable figures expressed their grief and shared their thoughts on the loss of this remarkable leader.
Expressions of Loss
Representative Abdullah Fahhad said, "We are deeply saddened by the departure of His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. He was a humble and generous leader who left a lasting impact on our country. His act of pardoning fellow citizens and bringing joy to the hearts of all Kuwaitis was a testament to his goodness."
MP Muhammad Haif expressed his condolences, saying, "Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was a man of morals, humility, and wisdom. May God grant him the highest place in Paradise."
Representative Muhalhal Al-Mudhaf prayed, "Oh God, forgive Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and grant him a place in your spacious paradise. He loved Kuwait and its people, and they loved him in return."
Representative Muhammad Al-Raqib shared, "With hearts that believe in God's will, we mourn the loss of our father, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. We pray for his forgiveness and mercy."
Representative Shuaib Shaaban asked for forgiveness and mercy for Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, saying, "He was a righteous leader who feared God among his people."
Representative Dr. Muhammad Al-Huwaila expressed his condolences to Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the entire Kuwaiti people, calling Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah the "prince of forgiveness, humility, and asceticism."
Representative Fahd Al Masoud offered his condolences to the leadership and people of Kuwait, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, on the loss of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Representative Adel Al-Damkhi remembered Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as a leader of forgiveness and humility, saying, "May God have mercy on him."
