“Al-Aqsa Flood”: Jihad to Repel Aggression and Defend the Sanctities. Calls to Uphold Palestinian Right and Support the Resistance.
Stop all Forms of Security Coordination and Normalization with the Occupation.
Islamic institutions and leaders worldwide rushed to support and endorse the heroic accomplishments of “Al-Aqsa Flood,” with some anticipating that this could mark the beginning of the end for the Zionist occupying entity.
“Al-Mujtama” monitored the reactions, amidst calls to support the Palestinian right to liberate their land, reclaim Islamic sanctities, and deter the Zionist occupier from oppressing civilians.
Initially, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, considered the plight of the people of Gaza a conspiracy by the international community. He emphasized that the Palestinian people are defending themselves against “Israeli” aggression and called for an Arab, Islamic, and international stance to confront this ruthless enemy.
Dr. Shawqi Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, stated in a phone call with the Mufti of Jerusalem that the Palestinian cause is the cause of every Arab and Muslim worldwide. He stressed that it is a timeless cause that lives in the hearts of people, and our commitment to Palestinian and Arab rights is strengthened by the religious and cultural significance of Jerusalem throughout history.Top of Form
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif praised, in a statement, the resilience of the brave Palestinian people, urging the civilized world and the international community to consider, with reason and wisdom, the longest occupation in modern history—the Zionist occupation of Palestine. The statement also emphasized that this occupation is a stain in the history of humanity and the international community.
The statement expressed solidarity with the brave Palestinian people, praying to Allah to grant them patience, perseverance, tranquility, and strength. It affirmed that every occupation will eventually come to an end, sooner or later, regardless of its duration.
Oman's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, posted a statement on his “X” account where he said about the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation carried out by the “Al-Qassam Brigades”: May Allah help the brave Palestinian resistance in defending its legitimate rights and facing the oppressive occupier.

Solidarity and Support
Islamic institutions in neighboring countries rushed to express their support for Palestine, as Lebanon's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdul-Latif Derian, stated that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle has disrupted the Zionist enemy and honored the Arab and Islamic nation, affirming that Palestine is a resistant Arab land that will always be defended by its people and its nation.
Sheikh Salim Sousan, the Mufti of Sidon, issued a directive to the mosques of Sidon to launch Takbirs in salute and support of the heroes of the “Al-Aqsa Flood,” the Palestinian resistance fighters who are epically rewriting history on the land of Palestine.
Sheikh Jamal al-Din Shbib, the head of the Islamic Media Authority in Lebanon, issued a statement saying: This extensive operation confirms the failure of all efforts to normalize with the “Israeli” enemy and its advocates. The resistance has proven, with its limited resources, its ability to confront, achieve victory, and breach the enemy's defenses, putting those betting on a fantasy of peace and normalization with the “Israeli” enemy in a shameful position.
The Lebanese Islamic Group, in a statement, called for supporting the Palestinian people and their brave resistance and heroic fighters who are honoring all the Ummah. The statement urged standing alongside the Palestinian people and their resistance towards the liberation of all Palestine, demanding an end to all forms of security coordination and normalization with the Zionist enemy. Additionally, it considered the “Al-Aqsa Flood” a battle for the entire Ummah.
Libya's Sharia Research and Studies Council of the Fatwa House issued a statement supporting the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, emphasizing that those unable to engage in jihad with oneself should not be spared from jihad with money, which is demanded by the rich, merchants, and businessmen before anyone else.
The Council called on scholars, preachers, speakers, orators, writers, bloggers, journalists, and all opinion leaders to verbally support the fighters, convey the facts, refute lies and distortions, respond to allegations with evidence and arguments, boost morale, and remind the believers of Allah's promises of victory.
Rashid al-Adouni, Deputy Head of the Unity and Reform Movement in Morocco, expressed his support for the Palestinian resistance, describing it as an honor to all free and decent people worldwide. He noted that the resistance, particularly the “Al-Qassam Brigades” and other factions, has made history by inflicting pain on the Zionist occupation, demonstrating its resilience and steadfastness.
Abdelhafidh Srite, a member of the National Secretariat of the National Action Group for Palestine, considered it a day of pride and honor for the resistance, proving that Palestine belongs only to the Palestinians, from its sea to its river. He stated that the resistance has shattered the “Oslo” Agreement and the “Abraham” Accords. Moreover, the Arab and Muslim nations have the right to be proud of the resistance, which has restored our dignity, identity, and independence, as our victory is coming close.

The Ummah’s Scholars
A group of scholars from the Muslim’s Ummah signed a statement confirming that it is the duty of scholars, in times of great crises, major events, and decisive battles, to always be present, to speak, and to raise awareness without fearing anything but Allah.
In their statement, they issued a Fatwa that what the Mujahideen are doing in the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” is among the greatest Islamic deeds of this era. It is a righteous jihad to repel aggression, defend religion, and protect sacred sanctities.
The statement, signed by 28 Islamic authorities and 25 prominent scholars, emphasized that every Muslim should find a way to contribute to this jihad with oneself, money, words, and stance, depending on their places and specialties. The scholars made it clear that failing to do so could lead to being subject to one of the fatal seven major sins: fleeing from the battlefield.
The scholars explicitly add that it’s permissible to kill any soldier or Zionist settler, wherever they are, whether in Palestine or elsewhere in any Islamic country. There is no consideration for any peace agreements or normalization with the Zionist enemy, under which they enter Muslim lands. Such agreements are religiously invalid, and there is no covenant for those who entered under these agreements in any Muslim country.
Among the prominent signatories of the statement are the Palestinian Scholars Authority, the Muslim Scholars Authority in Iraq, the Islamic Forum in Mauritania, the Scientific Authority of the Justice and Spirituality Group in Morocco, the Turkish Brotherhood and Development Foundation, the Islamic Association in Senegal, the Association of Scholars and Preachers in Southeast Asia, and the Scholars Authority in Yemen.
