Since October 7, 2023, Gaza has been living under continuous Zionist aggression, where the sound of bombings has not stopped and scenes of destruction have not ceased, leaving civilians to live in harsh days of constant fear and continuous loss.
A joint report issued by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, Al-Meezan Center, and Al-Haq Foundation reviewed the escalating patterns of Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip during the past week, which witnessed bombings targeting vital life elements and resulted in the displacement of the population of northern Gaza governorate.
The report highlighted the increasing escalation in aerial, ground, and sea bombardment operations that targeted homes, shelters, and refugee camps without prior warning, pointing to the commission of mass killings and widespread destruction of infrastructure in various areas of the sector, consolidating a continuous path of genocide in Gaza.
The report identified 6 main patterns of aggression, as follows:
1- Targeting schools and shelters:
The occupation forces targeted schools directly housing refugees, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians, including women and children, in places that were supposed to be safe havens for them.
2- Burning homes and buildings:
The report indicated the occupation's reliance on a policy of burning homes, especially in northern Gaza, where occupation soldiers appeared in recorded videos boasting about this act, as a deliberate provocation to the population and a deliberate destruction of their homes.
3- Targeting journalists:
The occupation forces targeted media workers for killing and incitement, resulting in the deaths of four of them in the bombing of Asmaa School in the Beach camp, in an attempt to silence witnesses and hinder the transmission of truth on the ground.
4- Mass killings:
The occupation forces continued their policy of collective bombing of densely populated neighborhoods, as happened in northern Gaza and Khan Yunis, leading to a large number of casualties.
5- Raids on Hospitals:
The report documented the occupation forces' raid of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, where patients and medical staff were arrested and evacuated, in a blatant violation of the sanctity of healthcare institutions.
6- Preventing rescue and ambulance teams:
The occupation forces deliberately prevented rescue and civil defense teams from reaching the targeted areas, impeding the efforts to rescue the victims and contributing to the exacerbation of the humanitarian catastrophe in the sector.
