Every year on May 18, the Crimean Tatars commemorate the anniversary of their forced deportation from their homeland in the Crimean Peninsula at the hands of the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin in 1944. During this time, Stalin decided to forcibly deport them, relocating tens of thousands to Siberia, central Russia, and the Central Asian republics, which were part of the Soviet Union at that time. What is the story of their deportation?

  1. The Crimean Peninsula is located south of Ukraine, north of the Black Sea, with the Kerch Strait separating it from Russia to the east.
  2. The Crimean Tatars are a Turkish people and the indigenous population of the disputed Crimean Peninsula between Russia and Ukraine.
  3. The origins of the Crimean Tatars trace back to Turkish tribes that settled in the Crimea during the Abbasid era, and they established a strong state from the eighth century AH until it was annexed by the Ottoman Empire before falling into Russian hands in 1783.
  4. Among the reasons for the deportation in 1944 were accusations from the Soviet Union, led by Joseph Stalin, alleging that the Crimean Tatars collaborated with German forces during World War II.
  5. On May 18, 1944, Stalin issued a decree for their forcible deportation from their historical homeland.
  6. According to historical sources, 180,000 of them were deported within just three days to areas in Siberia, central Russia, and the Central Asian republics that were under Soviet rule at the time.
  7. Families were given only 15 minutes to prepare for departure, with restrictions prohibiting them from taking any of their belongings.
  8. They were placed in closed freight trains that were used for transporting animals, leading to the deaths of thousands during the forced deportation process.
  9. Approximately 40% of them died during the deportation and in the early years that followed due to diseases, hunger, and harsh living conditions.
  10. In February 1954, the Soviet Union transferred the jurisdiction of the Crimean Peninsula from Russia to Ukraine, and after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, it remained part of Ukraine.
  11. Their homes and lands were confiscated and distributed to Russian workers who were brought in and settled in the place of the Crimean Tatars in the Crimea.
  12. At the beginning of 1987, some Crimean Tatars began to return to their lands without any rights or compensation for the forced deportation or for the confiscation of their properties.
  13. Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula in March 2014 through a unilateral referendum.

On the 425th day of the aggression on Gaza, the occupation forces continue to escalate their aggression against the Gaza Strip, leaving behind massacres of civilians amid ongoing clashes between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces on several fronts.

UNRWA: Families in Gaza face tragic conditions due to repeated displacement

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed today, Wednesday, that families in the Gaza Strip are living in dire humanitarian conditions due to repeated displacement resulting from ongoing Israeli shelling. In a post on X platform, the agency noted that families in areas like Deir al-Balah and across the strip are still suffering significantly due to repeated displacement in search of shelter in overcrowded UNRWA schools or temporary tents, while residents struggle to access their basic needs.

“Health” in Gaza: More than 100 patients inside Kamal Adwan Hospital are at risk of death

In another catastrophic development, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza warned that more than 100 patients inside Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern sector are at risk of death due to the cessation of oxygen supplies. The director of hospitals in the ministry told Al Jazeera that the halt in oxygen supply means the complete cessation of health services, noting that the northern regions of the sector are being completely destroyed with no sign of life.

Hamas: The occupation’s bombing of citizens’ homes in Beit Lahiya is "an intensification of the crime"

For its part, Hamas confirmed that the brutal shelling of citizens’ homes in Beit Lahiya and the targeting of Kamal Adwan Hospital and its medical staff is a continuation of the policy of genocide war that the Israeli occupation has been waging against Gaza for more than 400 days. The movement pointed out that the occupation's attempts to displace citizens from their homes and target medical infrastructure constitute a complete war crime, calling on the international community and Arab and international organizations to intervene urgently to stop the aggression and lift the siege imposed on the sector.

Targeting an Israeli military vehicle and sniping a soldier

In the context of resistance, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced targeting an Israeli personnel carrier with a “Yas'in 105” missile near the Tamraz station in the middle of the Jabalia camp in the northern sector. The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also announced the sniping of an Israeli soldier near the Energy area east of Gaza City, noting that these operations are part of the resistance's response to the ongoing aggression.

Occupation warns its soldiers against traveling due to risks of international arrest

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth revealed warnings issued by the Israeli army's leadership to its officers and soldiers against traveling to certain countries, fearing arrest due to their participation in the aggression against the Gaza Strip. The newspaper reported that the Israeli army asked 8 soldiers present in Cyprus, Slovenia, and the Netherlands to leave immediately due to the possibility of their arrest under international criminal decisions that may be issued by specific courts in some countries, amid ongoing international investigations regarding war crimes committed by the Israeli army in Gaza.

Norway withdraws investments from an “Israeli” Company

In a move showcasing a shift in the policies of some countries towards the occupation, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund announced its withdrawal of investments from Bezeq, an "Israeli" company, due to its provision of telecommunications services to the settlements in the occupied West Bank. The ethical council of the Norwegian fund confirmed that these services contribute to facilitating the existence of illegal settlements in the West Bank and their expansion, exposing the company to accusations of violating international law, according to what the Palestinian news agency reported.

Kuwait calls for more humanitarian aid for Gaza at Cairo Conference

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya led the country’s delegation at the Cairo Ministerial Conference to Enhance the Humanitarian Response in Gaza, held in Cairo on Monday. The conference, organized by Egypt marks a critical step in addressing the ongoing humanitarian disaster in the region.

The event, which has gathered 103 delegations from countries, international organizations, and financial institutions, is also attended by key figures such as UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, along with ministers and representatives from various regional and international countries, UN agencies, and concerned international organizations. The conference aims to secure clear commitments for providing aid to Gaza, enhancing international support for sustainable humanitarian responses, and mobilizing efforts to provide urgent assistance to the Palestinian population while planning for early recovery within the Gaza strip.

In his address, Minister Al-Yahya emphasized Kuwait’s longstanding commitment to supporting Palestine. He highlighted that Kuwait was one of the first countries to respond swiftly by providing humanitarian aid through air, sea, and land corridors to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Al-Yahya also condemned the ongoing obstruction of aid efforts by the Zionist entity, which has continued to hinder UN attempts to deliver essential humanitarian assistance, exacerbating hunger, malnutrition, and disease. He pointed out that over two million Palestinians are on the brink of famine, adding urgency to the global call for action.

The minister expressed concern over the international community’s double standards, noting the failure to hold the occupying forces accountable for their violations of international law. He stressed that the ongoing atrocities in Gaza — killing, starvation, and displacement — amount to genocide, with the international community still powerless to intervene and hold perpetrators accountable.

Furthermore, Al-Yahya called for global rejection of the recent Zionist entity law banning the operations of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which has been a lifeline for millions of Palestinian refugees. He urged the international community to ensure that UNRWA receives the necessary support to continue its vital operations without political interference.

This year’s conference comes amidst increasing Arab demands to lift the Zionist entity’s restrictions on the passage of aid into Gaza, particularly following the Zionist entity’s decision to ban UNRWA’s operations in October. The conference also discussed the political, security, and humanitarian dimensions of the crisis, focusing on the urgent need for coordinated international efforts to mitigate the suffering in Gaza and work toward sustainable solutions. — KUNA

GCC leaders call for an end to Zionist war crimes in Gaza

Leaders and representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) called on Sunday for an immediate cessation of war crimes in Gaza, the forced displacement of civilians, and the end of the Zionist occupation of Palestinian territories. They reiterated their unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause, affirming full support for the sovereignty of the Palestinian people over all territories occupied since June 1967 and advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The statements came as part of the Kuwait Declaration issued at the 45th GCC Summit, which was hosted by Kuwait. The declaration underscored the GCC’s consistent commitment to the Palestinian cause, highlighting the ongoing struggle for Palestinian rights and sovereignty amidst continued occupation and violence.

During the summit, the GCC leaders also lauded the growing role of the Gulf states in addressing various regional and global challenges, spanning political, security, and economic spheres. They praised the council’s efforts in resolving issues that threaten peace, security, and stability in the region, emphasizing the importance of enhancing international dialogue and fostering stronger connections among nations.

The declaration further emphasized the need for continued efforts to solidify the GCC’s role on the world stage, positioning the region as a leading hub for business and economics. Additionally, the leaders reinforced their commitment to confronting the global challenge of climate change through collective action and collaboration.

The GCC Summit called for an immediate halt to the killings, collective punishment, forced displacement of civilians, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure — including hospitals, schools, and places of worship — which constitute flagrant violations of international law and humanitarian principles. The summit also called for intervention to protect civilians, halt the war, and facilitate serious negotiations for sustainable solutions. The leaders reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, advocating for the end of the Zionist occupation, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and the recognition of East Jerusalem as its capital. They also appreciated Qatar’s efforts in securing a ceasefire in Gaza and facilitating the exchange of detainees.

The GCC leaders condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon and warned against its expansion, which could have severe consequences for the people of the region and for international peace and security. They expressed support for the temporary ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and viewed it as a step toward halting the war, ensuring Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanese territories, and the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, as well as the return of displaced persons to their homes.

The leaders expressed full solidarity with the Lebanese people, recalling Kuwait’s efforts and the GCC initiative on Lebanon, urging Lebanese leaders to prioritize national interests and reaffirm the political path to resolve internal conflicts. They also emphasized Lebanon’s vital role in preserving Arab national security, Arab culture, and maintaining strong relations with GCC states.

Peaceful conflict resolution

The leaders praised the continuous efforts of Saudi Arabia and Oman to revive the political process in Yemen, reaffirming their commitment to a peaceful resolution and the enhancement of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve regional disputes in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.

The GCC reaffirmed its collective commitment to a peaceful approach, encouraging dialogue and diplomacy in resolving disputes both within and outside the region, while respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of states and refraining from the use of force or threats.

The leaders also acknowledged the growing role of the GCC states in addressing regional and global challenges. They commended the council’s contributions in resolving issues that threaten peace, stability, and security, while enhancing international dialogue and fostering partnerships with other nations and groups.

Economic integration

The leaders called for continued efforts to position the GCC region as a center for international business and economics. They highlighted the importance of continuing efforts for sustainable economic diversification, ensuring stability in energy markets, and addressing climate change. The leaders also called for the swift and full implementation of all decisions within the framework of the GCC that benefit the citizens of member states and align with their aspirations.

Youth empowerment

The leaders expressed their commitment to continuing efforts to empower women in the Gulf and strengthen the role of youth across the GCC states. They emphasized the importance of universities, research centers, intellectuals, and thought leaders in preserving Gulf identity, Arabic culture, and Islamic values, alongside promoting sound governance practices. They affirmed the role of GCC institutions in achieving these goals.

In line with the GCC’s pursuit of economic diversification and sustainable, innovative development, the leaders underscored the strategic importance of the digital economy as a key pillar supporting the region’s future growth. They highlighted the digital economy as a historic opportunity to promote economic growth and enhance integration among GCC states.

Digital economy

The leaders praised the advanced and resilient digital infrastructure in GCC countries, recognizing it as a fundamental enabler of their digital economic ambitions. They noted that investments in 5G networks, high-speed connectivity, and data centers have strengthened the region’s readiness to become a global hub for the digital economy, thereby accelerating innovation, supporting emerging technologies, and attracting digital investments.

The leaders acknowledged the importance of strategic investments in information technology fields such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. These investments have positioned the GCC states at the forefront of the global digital transformation, focusing on innovative applications in renewable energy, healthcare, education, transportation, and financial services.

They reiterated the importance of enhancing cooperation among GCC states to develop common digital strategies that will contribute to digital integration across their economies, including facilitating e-commerce, developing digital payment systems, and supporting cybersecurity. The leaders also called for accelerating the creation of unified digital markets to enhance regional economic integration and boost the competitiveness of GCC countries globally.

Global contributions

The GCC leaders affirmed that, thanks to their diverse resources, human capital, and advanced technological capabilities, they are increasingly contributing to the global economy. They stressed that the GCC’s digital initiatives are not only aimed at achieving national goals but also at fostering global innovation and economic growth, thus cementing the region’s role as a digital economic power capable of addressing future challenges and providing sustainable solutions.

Finally, the leaders stressed the importance of continuing to develop digital infrastructure, expanding the adoption of emerging technologies, and focusing on the development of skilled human resources capable of leading digital transformation. They emphasized that the GCC’s vision for the digital future aims to balance innovation and economic growth with environmental and social sustainability. These collective efforts reflect the commitment of the GCC states to stay ahead of global developments, improve the well-being of their peoples, and establish the region as a global hub for digital economy, ensuring sustainable prosperity for the region and the world. — KUNA

His Highness the Prince: Our position is steadfast in supporting the Palestinian

His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, renewed his condemnation of the brutal "Israeli" occupation of the occupied Palestinian land and the successive genocides against the Palestinian people.

In his speech at the 45th Gulf Summit held at Bayan Palace today, Sunday, he called on the international community and the Security Council—in particular—to fulfill their role by ensuring the implementation of all relevant Security Council resolutions, an immediate ceasefire, providing international protection for innocent civilians, and ensuring the opening of safe passages and access to urgent humanitarian assistance.

His Highness emphasized "the steadfast position of our historical principle in supporting the Palestinian brotherly people in their legitimate struggle to end the "Israeli" occupation of the occupied Palestinian land, obtain all their political rights, and establish their independent state on their land within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the relevant international references and resolutions."

He stated that the dual standards in applying international laws, covenants, and relevant resolutions have led to the rampant "Israeli" occupation and the destabilization of security and stability in the region. He highlighted the repeated aggressions faced by the sisterly Republic of Lebanon, the sisterly Arab Republic of Syria, and the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran from the forces of the "Israeli" occupation.

The Amir of the country renewed "full support for all contributions from the member states aimed at stabilizing the region, including the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in efforts to recognize the State of Palestine within the framework of the international coalition to implement the two-state solution, as well as hosting the joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit."

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics dealt with Islam in these republics with violence and defiance since it extended its influence over those lands. The police confiscated all copies of the Holy Quran and burned them between 1929 and 1936. Many atheistic associations supported this effort with anti-Islam propaganda at the time.

Combating Islam and its adherents

The Soviet government used all means of media to achieve its goal: to combat Islam and its adherents. For example, in 1962, 23,000 lectures were delivered in the Republic of Uzbekistan against religion, and cinemas and radio stations were used to fight religion and distort the image of Muslims who went to mosques, fasted during Ramadan, or celebrated Islamic holidays.

Union of Atheists

To this end, the communists established the Union of Atheists in 1923 and prevented pilgrims from going to the Holy House of God, taking into account that before the Soviets seized Islamic lands, the number of Muslim pilgrims in these areas was approximately 35,000 annually. However, with these fierce campaigns targeting Islam over the years, their number during Soviet rule ranged from only 15 to 20 pilgrims in some years! In many years, none of the Soviet pilgrims reached the Holy House of God!

Amid waves of severe fear

In such extremely difficult circumstances, Muslims performed their religious rituals amid waves of severe fear. Therefore, during this period, only the elderly appeared as pioneers of the mosques, due to the ban on prayer, fasting, and pilgrimage under the pretext that this would economically affect Soviet society. In light of this, some religious leaders in Russia were compelled to issue fatwas that aligned with the objectives of the Soviets, so that Muslims could carry out their religious practices without affecting the future of the economy.

Praying only once a day

For example, these fatwas permitted Muslims to pray only once a day and to fast for just one day during the entire month of Ramadan! The Soviet authorities issued an order banning the sacrifice of animals, even if they were private property, under the pretext of the economic damage that would result from the slaughter of such a massive number of sacrifices.

  • "We are the scholars of Islam and its jurists, and we express the word of Islam as we see it, not as politicians see it. Politicians have to listen to the scholars who have studied what is called socialism, and they have seen that Islam is of a higher standing and a more noble direction." - Sheikh Muhammad Abu Zahra
  • "Al-Maraghi cannot prohibit what Allah has permitted." - Sheikh Al-Maraghi
  • "When the mufti is asked, he must answer as long as he knows the ruling." - Late Sheikh of Al-Azhar Abdul Majid Saleem

The book "Historical Stances of Muslim Scholars," published in 1984, offers a glimpse into the historical stances of Muslim scholars, particularly those from Al-Azhar, who presented rare examples of esteemed scholars who spoke the truth in the face of power, undazed by position or wealth, nor intimidated by any ruler or president.

 Al-Azhar Notables

The author of the book, Dr. Muhammad Rajab Al-Bayoumi, former Dean of the College of Arabic Language in Mansoura, reviews a series of stances taken by the prominent figures of Al-Azhar in defense of truth and standing up against falsehood. He emphasizes the need to document, record, and preserve these immortal positions, urging that the voices of scholars and jurists should not be silenced so that everyone knows that the Quranic spirit that inspired Sa'id bin Jubair, Sa'id bin Al-Musayyib, Ibn Hanbal, and Al-Izz ibn Abdu-Salam is the same strong spirit that resided in the hearts of Al-Azhar scholars, who confronted falsehood with a clear and truthful tongue.

The Great Scholar Muhammad Abu Zuhra

The valuable insights of the book, spanning 235 pages, recount the wisdom of the esteemed Egyptian scholar Sheikh Muhammad Abu Zuhra (1898 – 1974) when he was invited to a major Islamic conference in one of the Arab capitals. On the opening day of the conference, the head of state attended to deliver the inaugural address, claiming that socialism is the Islamic doctrine. No one stepped forward to comment on what the president had said, but Abu Zuhra asked for the floor and boldly stated: "We are the scholars and jurists of Islam, and we have come to this conference to present the word of Islam as we perceive it, not as politicians see it. It is the duty of politicians to listen to scholars and to recognize that they are specialists, knowledgeable individuals, not to be deceived by misleading appearances. They have studied what is referred to as socialism and have concluded that Islam is greater in value and nobler in direction than to be confined within its limits. The participants will express their opinions as they believe, not as politicians wish, for they are the decision-makers in this domain."

Al-Bayoumi comments in his richly illustrated book of stances, lessons, and morals that the conference, which was supposed to last a full week, did not continue its activities, and the reception party served as its conclusion, following the historical, decisive, and rare position taken by Abu Zuhra.

Sheikh Muhammad Mustafa Al-Maraghi, Former Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar

The late Sheikh Muhammad Mustafa Al-Maraghi (1881 – 1945) is regarded as one of the prominent stars in the book "Historical Positions of Muslim Scholars," having recorded a stance that will remain etched in the memory of history, one that displayed no fear of power or authority.

The book recalls the severe ordeal that Al-Maraghi faced during his tenure as a judge. When King Farouk divorced his wife, Queen Farida, the king wanted to prohibit her from remarrying after him. Al-Maraghi refused to issue a fatwa to that effect. The king visited him while he was being treated at Al-Mawasah Hospital. Al-Maraghi famously declared: "As for the divorce, I do not approve of it, and as for the prohibition, I do not possess the authority to enact it." When the king pressed him, the Sheikh exclaimed: "Al-Maraghi cannot prohibit what Allah has made permissible."

Late Al-Azhar Sheikh Abdul-Majid Salim

In another instance, the writer documents a historical position when the late Al-Azhar Sheikh Abdul-Majid Salim (1882 – 1954), who was the Mufti of Egypt, received a question from a magazine opposing the king regarding the legitimacy of holding dance parties in the palaces of the elite. The magazine's message was delivered to him by one of the secretaries of fatwas at the Fatwa House, who pointed out that the king had held a dance party at Abdeen Palace, thus the fatwa was politically motivated, aiming to create discord between the Sheikh and the king. He responded, "And what is wrong with that? If the mufti is asked, he must answer as long as he knows the ruling," and issued his fatwa declaring these parties as forbidden.

Sheikh Gad El-Haq Ali Gad El-Haq

The book discusses several positions taken by the late Al-Azhar Sheikh Gad El-Haq Ali Gad El-Haq (1917 – 1996). He was the first to announce that the genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina was a Crusade aimed at the extermination of Muslims. He was also the first to call for an Islamic conference at Al-Azhar Mosque after Friday prayers to support the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stating that the Muslims of Bosnia and Herzegovina needed money and weapons more than they needed fighters.

No Peace with the Jewish Occupiers

When the U.S. Congress decided to move the American embassy to Jerusalem, the late Imam issued a clear and explicit statement in which he condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against Jerusalem, denounced the American decision as support for the oppressive aggressors, and rejected the policy of normalization with "Israel." He stated that there is no peace with the Jewish occupiers and that peace can only be achieved by liberating Arab lands. He also declared his rejection of Muslims visiting Jerusalem after some scholars ruled it permissible following the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. Regarding the Egyptian prisoners killed deliberately by "Israel" during the June 1967 War, he stated that willful murder of our prisoners deserves retribution.

Rejection of the Population Conference Document Held in Cairo in 1994

The Grand Imam had a notable stance against the Population Conference held in Cairo in 1994, as the late Sheikh engaged in a fierce battle against some of the clauses in the conference document. He issued a strongly worded statement rejecting the conference document, affirming that Islam does not acknowledge any sexual relationships outside of legitimate marriage between a man and a woman. Moreover, Islam prohibits adultery, sodomy, and deviance, and forbids the abortion of a fetus, even if conceived through adultery. The statement urged the Islamic nation not to adhere to any clause or provision that contradicts the laws of God.

Jews and the Media

December 04, 2024

Today's communications revolution is one of the greatest revolutions, as the globe has become like a small village, or rather a small hut. Therefore, the media is considered one of the most important tools that the Jews have focused on in their leadership of many sites and their influence on them, especially in the United States of America.

Most statistics agree that the American citizen follows what is happening in his country and in the rest of the world through television news bulletins, which constitute the most important source of news for (85%) of the American people.

There are four television networks that together constitute more than (95%) of the local and international news that is collected, filmed and broadcasted to the American citizen. These networks are: CNN, owned by Time Warner, headed by Gerald Levin (Jewish); ABC, owned by Walt Disney, headed by Michael Eisner (Jewish); CBS, owned by Westinghouse, headed by Eric Weber (Jewish); and NBC, owned by General Electric, headed by Andrew Luck (Jewish).

It is painful to find that all these networks are currently run by Jews, which means that (100%) of the decision regarding the news broadcast by the four largest American television networks, which control (95%) of the news in America, and have a great influence, because they constitute a primary source of news received by (85%) of the American people.. are in fact for the Jews.

As for the daily press, the Jews have succeeded in controlling it and even owning the three largest influential American newspaper institutions, which are: (The New York Times), which is considered the newspaper that directs the pulse of American society and expresses its culture, and is headed by Arthur Ochs Salzberg (Jew).

The New York Times Corporation also owns (36) other daily newspapers and (12) important magazines, and (3) book printing companies, and it supplies more than (500) daily newspapers with news.

The second newspaper is (The Washington Post), which is the first political newspaper in America, and is read by most decision makers, starting from the White House to state representatives in the US Congress. Eugene Meyer (Jew) bought this newspaper in (1933 AD) and his family still owns it, and the majority share in it is owned by one of Eugene's granddaughters, Catherine Meyer (Jewish). As for the (Wall Street Journal), it is a financial and business newspaper, and is read by politicians, company presidents, investors and wealthy people in America and many parts of the world. It is considered the most widely circulated American newspaper, as more than (2.1) million copies are printed daily. It is owned by the Dow Jones Company, headed by Peter Kahn (Jewish), and the company publishes (24) other daily and weekly newspapers.

As for the weekly magazines, we find that Jews entirely own the most important ones in the political arena. These magazines are: Time magazine (4.1 million copies per week), owned by Time Warner, headed by the Jewish Gerald Levin; Newsweek magazine (2.3 million copies), owned by the Washington Post, headed by the Jewish Catherine Meyer; and finally US News magazine (2.3 million copies), most of whose shares are owned and headed by the Jewish Martin Zuckerman.

As for publishing houses, there are hundreds of them in America in various cultural and scientific fields, but when we search for the largest of these houses, we find that they are also owned and managed by Jews.

Time Books is owned by Time Warner, Random House is owned by the Jewish Samuel Newhouse, Simon & Schuster is owned by Paramount, headed by the Jewish Martin Davis, and finally Western, headed by the Jewish Richard Bernstein.

Therefore, it is not surprising to see this media collusion to distort the facts of the conflict in all regions of the Islamic world, and to present it in a way that serves Western and Jewish orientations.

History has proven that the Jews are the most corrupt and corrupting nations on earth. They killed the prophets, spread obscenity, betrayed covenants and agreements, and plotted and conspired. Therefore, among their protocols that they wrote at the Basel Conference in Switzerland in 1897 AD are the following:

We will place the official press in the first row, which will always be vigilant in defending our interests.

In the second row we will place the semi-official press, whose duty will be to attract the neutral and the lukewarm.

In the third row we will place the press that includes our opposition, which will appear in one of its editions as hostile to us, and our real enemies will take this opposition as their basis, and they will leave us to reveal their cards thereby.

We shall have various newspapers supporting different sects, and these newspapers will be like the Hindu god Vishnu, with hundreds of hands, and each hand will feel the pulse of the fluctuating public opinion, and whenever the pulse quickens, these hands will attract this opinion towards our purpose, because the patient with nervous agitation is easily led and easily falls under any kind of influence.

"Al-Mujtama" Magazine, Issue: 1727

On the 424th day of the "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood," the occupation forces persist in intensifying their aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in civilian massacres, alongside ongoing confrontations between the Palestinian resistance and occupation forces across various fronts.

Humanitarian Disaster: 70,000 Disabled Due to Aggression in Gaza

The Director of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Munir al-Borash, revealed that the ongoing Zionist aggression has caused disabilities for 70,000 people in the strip, a shocking figure that reflects the scale of the humanitarian tragedy.

Al-Borash explained in statements to Al-Jazeera that the large number of casualties is clear evidence that the occupation is committing systematic genocide against the Palestinian people, amid a shortage of medical capabilities that hinder the treatment of the injured.

206 Archaeological Sites Destroyed by the Occupation

Ismail Thawabteh, the Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, confirmed that the Zionist aggression has systematically targeted Palestinian heritage.

He pointed out that 206 archaeological and heritage sites have been destroyed out of 325 sites in the strip.

Among the prominent archaeological sites targeted by the occupation with its shells and missiles are the Omari Mosque in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, and the Great Omari Mosque in Gaza City, which are historical landmarks bearing a rich civilizational heritage.

The occupation also targeted the Sheikh Ridwan Mosque in the old city of Gaza, which dates back to the Phoenician era and has sustained severe damage to its walls and gates, according to Thawabteh.

Thawabteh confirmed that these crimes are part of a systematic Zionist strategy to erase the Palestinian identity and wipe out the historical memory.

Tragedy in Northern Gaza: Horrifying Casualty Figures

Over the course of 60 days, the occupation forces intensified their ground, air, and naval attacks on northern Gaza; this led to a humanitarian disaster, according to the government media office.

The government media added in a press statement that more than 3,700 martyrs and missing persons have fallen victim to this ongoing aggression, with 2,400 martyrs buried, in addition to 10,000 wounded and 1,750 detainees.

Al-Qassam Sniper Kills a Zionist Soldier in Jabalia

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they carried out a sniper operation targeting a Zionist soldier near the Zammu Roundabout east of Jabalia.

This operation comes amid the ongoing large-scale extermination and ethnic cleansing by the occupation, which has prompted the Palestinian resistance to escalate its qualitative operations in response to this aggression.

Hamas: 33 Zionist Prisoners Killed, Some Missing

In a statement, Hamas revealed that 33 Zionist prisoners were killed and some were reported missing during the ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza.

The movement stated in a video clip published on its website that the deaths and disappearances of the prisoners were due to the criminal Netanyahu and his fascist army, according to their statements.

The movement warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the continuation of the aggression could lead to the complete loss of the prisoners forever, urging the occupation to take appropriate steps before it is too late.

Shocking Poll: One Third of Jewish Youth Abroad Sympathize with Hamas!

A poll conducted by the "Mosaic United" Hebrew organization showed that 32% of Jewish youth abroad sympathize with Hamas, while 36% believe that "Israel" is committing genocide in Gaza.

According to the details of the results, as published by Anadolu Agency:

- 37% of American Jewish youth sympathize with Hamas, while the percentage drops to just 7% in other countries.

- 42% of American Jewish youth believe that "Israel" is committing genocide, compared to only 9% of their peers in other countries.

The history of Zionist political and military organizations forms the cornerstone of the establishment of the Zionist entity. Through its political and economic institutions, it strengthened migration and settlement, while its military formations worked on imposing the Zionist project by force, contributing to the consolidation of occupation and achieving the goals of the Zionist movement.

This article highlights the most prominent organizations and institutions that played a pivotal role in solidifying Jewish migration and settlement in Palestine, alongside the military formations that paved the way for the establishment of the occupying entity through armed operations against the Palestinians.

First: Political Formations

Lovers of Zion

The "Lovers of Zion" associations were established in 1881 in Russia after the May Laws that targeted Jews there, and sought to promote Jewish migration to Palestine and purchase land there. This movement served as a link between the "Vanguards of Zionism" and political Zionism led by Herzl. It adopted the slogan "To Palestine" and established several colonies such as "Rishon LeZion" and "Zichron Yaakov." It greatly contributed to shaping the intellectual foundation of Zionism by advocating for cultural and economic separation from surrounding societies.

World Zionist Organization

Established after the First Zionist Congress (Basel, 1897) led by Herzl with the aim of establishing a national homeland for Jews in Palestine. It established financial institutions such as the "Jewish National Fund" (1901) and the "Jewish Colonial Trust Fund," which contributed to funding migration and settlement. The organization succeeded in increasing the number of Jews in Palestine from 80,000 in 1922 to 650,000 in 1948, thanks to the support of Western powers.

Jewish Colonial Association

Founded in 1891 by Baron Maurice de Hirsch to settle poor Jews from Europe in agricultural colonies. It began its activities in Palestine in 1896 and established new colonies, in coordination with the Jewish Agency after 1929. It contributed to the development of agricultural colonies and the promotion of settlement even after the establishment of the occupying state.

Halutzim

A movement of Jewish immigrants during the Second Aliyah (1904-1914) focused on agricultural work and the revival of Hebrew culture. The Halutzim played a role in shaping kibbutz farms and military organizations like "Hashomer" and "Haganah," which became the nucleus of the Israeli army.

Jewish National Fund (Keren Kayemeth)

Established in 1903 to purchase and develop land for the benefit of Jews. Its activities focused on land reclamation, afforestation, and funding settlement projects. By 1947, the fund owned approximately 933,000 dunams of land in Palestine, and continued its activities in promoting settlement after the establishment of the occupying state.

Foundation Fund (Keren Hayesod)

Established in 1920 to fund migration and settlement after the Balfour Declaration. It contributed to the establishment of colonies, economic companies, and infrastructure such as the port of Tel Aviv and the water company "Mekorot."

Jewish National Council

Established in 1920 to represent the Jews in front of the British Mandatory authorities and international investigation committees. It worked in coordination with the Jewish Agency in organizing the affairs of the settlers and preparing for the establishment of the Zionist state.

The Jewish Agency

The Jewish Agency was founded in Palestine in 1922, based on Article IV of the British Mandate Charter, which was based on the Balfour Declaration. The article stipulated the establishment of a "suitable Jewish agency" to act as an advisory body to the British administration and cooperate in economic and social issues that serve the establishment of a national homeland for the Jews and protect their interests.

The Sixteenth Zionist Congress defined the goals of the Agency as:

1. Promoting Jewish immigration to Palestine.

2. Purchasing land as Jewish property.

3. Encouraging agricultural settlement based on Jewish work.

4. Promoting the Hebrew language and heritage.

During the British Mandate, the Agency played the role of a government for the Jewish settlers and contributed to the establishment of the national homeland under British protection.

After the establishment of the Zionist entity in 1948, most of the Agency's tasks were transferred to the occupation government. In 1952, the Knesset passed a law separating the tasks of the Agency from the Zionist organization, while maintaining its role in absorbing and developing immigrants in cooperation with Jewish institutions.

Secondly: Military formations

Hashomer (The Guard)

Established in 1909 as the first Zionist organization specialized in defense and guarding settlements. It was founded by members of the Bar-Giora Association under the leadership of Yitzhak Ben Zvi and Alexander Zaid. It evolved from a guard to an organized armed force defending settlements in the Galilee and other areas.

In the early 1920s, the organization was dissolved to establish the "Haganah," while some of its extremist members joined the "Irgun."

Haganah (Defense)

Established in 1921 in Jerusalem, and led the establishment of the Zionist entity until 1948. During World War II, it supported Jewish resistance in Europe and the migration of Jews to Palestine.

With the declaration of the occupation state, Ben Gurion issued a decision to merge the Haganah with other military organizations to form the Israeli Defense Forces.

Irgun

Founded in 1931, under the leadership of Vladimir Jabotinsky, then Menachem Begin. It was known for terrorist operations such as the bombing of the King David Hotel and the Deir Yassin massacre. In 1948, it merged into the occupation army, and its leaders were later honored.

Lehi (Stern)

Broke away from Irgun in 1940 under the leadership of Abraham Stern. It carried out terrorist operations, most notably the bombing of the Jaffa headquarters. Its forces joined the Zionist army in 1948, and its members later received government privileges.

Jewish Brigade

Established by Britain during World War II based on the efforts of the Jewish Agency, and included Jewish units that fought in Europe. After the war, its members joined Zionist organizations and became part of the Zionist army.

Israeli occupation forces continue to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip for the 423rd consecutive day, conducting dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, along with committing massacres against civilians, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation due to the blockade and the displacement of more than 95% of the population.

Correspondents reported that the occupation's aircraft and artillery continued their violent shelling and strikes on various parts of the Gaza Strip on Monday, targeting homes, shelters for the displaced, and streets, resulting in dozens of martyrs and injuries.

Occupation forces continue their ground invasion of vast neighborhoods in Rafah since May 7, alongside several fronts in Gaza, with air and artillery bombardment and the committing of horrific massacres, as well as demolishing citizens' homes in Jabalia Camp.

For the 59th consecutive day, northern Gaza is enduring Israeli siege and starvation, along with intense air and artillery shelling, completely isolating the northern governorate from Gaza.

For the 41st consecutive day, the occupation forces are forcefully disrupting the work of civil defense in northern Gaza due to ongoing Israeli targeting and aggression, leaving thousands of citizens there without humanitarian and medical care.

The Israeli occupation has committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, leading to 37 martyrs and 108 injuries reaching hospitals in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health.

The ministry, in its daily update, stated: "There are still many victims under the rubble and in the streets that ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach."

The toll of Israeli aggression has risen to 44,466 martyrs and 105,358 injuries since October 7, 2023.

A woman was martyred, and others were injured in an attack carried out by an Israeli drone targeting the home of the Eid family around Al-Ihsan Mosque south of Nuseirat Camp.

A citizen was martyred due to an Israeli airstrike this afternoon in the industrial area of Gaza City.

Occupation planes targeted a house near Al-Omari Mosque in Jabalia town in northern Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of two citizens and injuries to others. Eight citizens were injured due to the targeting of an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft at Halima Al-Sadiya School, which is sheltering displaced persons in Jabalia.

Three injuries arrived at the European Gaza Hospital due to shelling from an occupation reconnaissance plane behind Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah city.

Occupation aircraft targeted the vicinity of Abu Hemisa School in Al-Bureij Camp in the central Gaza Strip.

A martyr arrived at Nasser Medical Complex from Kherbet Al-Adas in Rafah due to Israeli shelling.

Young man Sabri Hassan Al-Masdar (25 years old) was martyred due to heavy shelling from the occupation's artillery east of Al-Masdar town in the central Gaza Strip.

Civil defense reported that its crews are attempting to extinguish a fire that broke out in the home of the "Baker" family behind Al-Amal Hotel in western Gaza City, following an Israeli targeting.

The occupation army demolished residential buildings in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip.

A martyr fell due to an Israeli artillery strike that targeted eastern Al-Masdar town in the central Gaza Strip.

Occupation artillery shelled Beit Lahiya city and western Jabalia, coinciding with gunfire from occupation vehicles in the Al-Safutawi area northwest of Gaza City.

Occupation aircraft launched an airstrike on the Al-Manshiya neighborhood in Beit Lahiya city in the northern Gaza Strip.

Occupation boats positioned off the western coast of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip fired heavily toward the shore.
