Syrian Daraa dominates social media after militants confront a Zionist incursion

Tensions intensified in southern Syria after the incursion of Israeli occupation forces into the countryside of Daraa, leading to violent clashes with local armed groups, coinciding with a series of airstrikes targeting Damascus, Hama, and Homs.

What happened?

Israeli occupation planes launched more than 11 airstrikes on the capital Damascus and the cities of Hama and Homs evening, Wednesday, while the city of Daraa witnessed a ground incursion by the occupation forces in the latest violation of Syrian sovereignty.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces made an incursion with several military vehicles into the forest of the Al-Jubeili Dam near the city of Nawa in western Daraa, under the cover of reconnaissance aircraft, which flew frequently in the skies.

Coinciding with these events, Hebrew sources reported a statement by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, in which he said that the recent strikes carry a "strong warning" to Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara, cautioning against "the consequences of allowing any party to threaten Israel's security.

Syrian journalist Ahmad Mofaq Zidan wrote on the platform "X": The Israeli raids targeting the resources of the Syrian people confirm that this criminal entity has no covenant or conscience. What it is doing in Gaza and Syria reflects its true nature as a rogue gang that threatens regional security as a whole.

The researcher and thinker Muhammad Mukhtar Al-Shanqiti said: If Syria stabilizes, it will be a disaster for the Zionists. If they decide to meddle with it, it will be a disaster for them. There is no future for them after the liberation of the Levant and the arrival of the soldiers of the Levant to the outskirts of Jerusalem.

In turn, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saghir pointed to the danger of the Arab and international silence regarding the repeated "Israeli" aggression, saying: "The occupation continues to violate Syrian airspace and to intrude into its territories, amid a troubling global complicity, while Arab countries have become incapable even of issuing formal condemnation statements.

In this context, the Palestinian political activist Fayez Abu Shamala confirmed that the Zionist aggression is not linked to its prisoners or resistance movements, but is an ingrained ideology. He stated: The "Israeli" airstrikes on Syria confirm that the bombardment of Gaza and the slaughter of its people have nothing to do with "Israeli" prisoners or the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle!
