Imagine if a tragedy like 9/11 happened not once, but fifteen times. That's how President Joe Biden described the recent Hamas raid that killed 1,400 Israelis. It's a horrifying event that shook the nation.
Unseen Tragedy
But what about the Palestinians? Since the start of this war, more than 9,000 Palestinians have been killed, including thousands of children and innocent civilians. If we apply the same logic, that's more than 400 times the devastation of September 11. It's a staggering number, yet President Biden simply dismisses it as if it's not real.
Disregard for Palestinian Lives
This disregard for Palestinian lives is truly shameful. It's heartbreaking to see how little value is placed on their well-being.
Media Bias
Unfortunately, in most of the U.S. media, there is only one acceptable viewpoint: unwavering support for Israel's far-right government. Anyone who dares to criticize Israel's actions risks severe consequences, such as losing their job or worse.
A Tragic Exodus
As a result of the ongoing conflict, half of Gaza's population, which is over 1.5 million people, have been forced to flee their homes. This is not a coincidence. Political analyst Yousef Munayyer believes that Israel's ultimate goal is to "mass depopulate" Gaza. It's a horrifying reality.
No Surprise
Unfortunately, none of this should come as a shock. Those who have followed President Biden's political career and his stance on Israel know that he has always been a staunch supporter of the country. His unwavering support for Israel's actions in Gaza is consistent with his past positions.
An Empire Politician
President Biden has been labeled an "empire politician" due to his belief that the morality of war doesn't matter as much as its impact on America's power and prestige. This mindset has shaped his foreign policy decisions, including his stance on Israel.
A Long History
Since his early days in the Senate in 1973, Biden has been known as "Israel's man in Washington." His positions on issues like the killing of civilians in Israel's invasion of Lebanon have even shocked some Israeli officials. This long history of support for Israel is evident in his current actions.
A Tragic Reality
What we are witnessing today is unquestioning support for Israel, with little concern for the moral consequences of military conflict. Sadly, it is the everyday people of Gaza who will continue to suffer the most under this regime. It's a tragic reality that must be acknowledged and addressed.
