Halting procedures for receiving the bodies of 88 martyrs from the occupation
Gaza Strip hospitals announced today, Wednesday, the halting of procedures for receiving the bodies of 88 martyrs from the occupation, due to the lack of information about their owners.
They explained in a press statement that the bodies were received without any data indicating knowledge of their owners or the places where they were recovered.
The Ministry of Health called on the Red Cross to carry out its duties in accordance with the applicable international protocol regarding the receipt and delivery of bodies, while providing accurate details about each body, including names, ages, and the areas from which they were taken.
Hiding the data of martyrs is an international legal crime
The Government Media Office in Gaza indicated that the "Israeli" occupation army has violated the dignity of 88 bodies of martyrs, insisting on concealing their data in a clear international legal crime.
In a press statement, the office condemned this inhumane step, as the occupation sent the bodies in a special container to the Gaza Strip without supervision from any official body, and without disclosing details related to the victims.
They stressed that the occupation has refused to disclose the names of the martyrs or information about their ages or the places from which they were killed and kidnapped, which led the Palestinian Ministry of Health to stop the procedures for receiving the container until the necessary data is completed.
They explained that this new crime comes as an addition to a series of clear humanitarian violations, which contradict international law and international agreements that respect the dignity of the bodies of martyrs. It also comes within the framework of the genocide crime committed by the "Israeli" occupation against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for a whole year, without any deterrent from the international community, and with the cover of the American administration and some European countries. This crime has been repeated several times during the war of extermination, as the occupation has dug up thousands of graves and stolen hundreds of bodies in the governorates of Gaza, the North, Khan Yunis, and Rafah.
