Raids and artillery shelling
The occupation continued its raids and artillery shelling on various areas of the Gaza Strip, while the number of martyrs since October 7 has exceeded 41,118.
A raid on Salah al-Din Mosque
The occupation air force launched a raid in the vicinity of Salah al-Din Mosque in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, and carried out raids east of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and the occupation army blew up buildings in al-Maghraqa north of Nuseirat, and artillery targeted east of al-Maghazi.
Local sources reported the recovery of a girl and a woman, and at least five injuries from a house belonging to the Aql family, on Street 20 in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, after an Israeli attack.
Five martyrs
At least five martyrs were killed in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted a house belonging to the al-Bardawil family in Mawasi Rafah. They are: the children Amir Muhammad al-Bardawil, Wajdan Imad Ashour, Qasim Imad Ashour, Muhammad Adnan al-Bardawil, and Amal Adnan al-Bardawil.
The Israeli targeting in Rafah resulted in fires igniting around the Zaghloul refrigerators in the north.
Dozens of Israelis demonstrated this morning and closed main streets in Tel Aviv to demand a prisoner exchange deal.
The results of an opinion poll conducted by the Israeli newspaper Maariv showed that the ruling Likud party would win 24 seats if the Israeli general elections were held today, and the State Camp party led by Benny Gantz would continue to decline and could win 21 seats. 56% of Israelis supported forming a unity government to restore the prisoners in exchange for an agreement to advance the election date.
False Claims
On Thursday evening, the occupation army announced that the Rafah Brigade of the Qassam Brigades was "completely defeated", and that the 162nd Division in the army killed more than two thousand Hamas fighters in Rafah and destroyed about 13 kilometers of tunnels.
The occupation army claimed that it destroyed 80 percent of the tunnels in the Salah al-Din/Philadelphi axis area, and found 9 tunnels crossing the border into Egypt.
According to the occupation army radio, all the cross-border tunnels are closed on the Egyptian side, and can be destroyed within 48 hours.
Withdrawal from the Philadelphi Axis
According to Doron Kadosh, an army radio correspondent, the army is now awaiting the decision of the Israeli political leadership regarding the withdrawal from the Philadelphi axis, adding: "In fact, the maneuver in Rafah has already ended."
