No one can deny that "Al-Aqsa Flood" constituted the most dangerous event in the third decade of this century. It struck like lightning on the Zionist entity and its primary supporter, America, the empire that has dominated the world since the 1940s and has led it alone for the last three decades. The surprise for America was earth-shattering; President Joe Biden immediately met with senior members of his national security team. Secretary of State Tony Blinken hurriedly followed suit, and Biden gave a brief speech to declare his absolute support for the entity, which lasted no more than two minutes, after speaking by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Within hours, the United States began moving warships and aircraft to the region to be ready to provide the Zionist entity with everything it needs and more, to continue its declared war of extermination on more than two million refugees in Gaza. This explains the organic relationship between the Zionist entity and America, as if they are one entity. This is the truth they do not hide, for as the British scholar Halford Mackinder says, it is an advanced base for controlling the heart of the world; because whoever controls the heart of the world controls the entire world. Controlling this region is a strategic goal for Western colonialism (America and Western Europe), and the Zionist entity is the one that achieves this goal.
According to data from the U.S. Agency for International Development, the total U.S. aid provided to the Zionist entity between 1946 and 2023 amounted to approximately $260 billion. A report published by the Washington Post in May 2024 stated that America had provided $6.5 billion in military aid to Israel since the start of its war on the Gaza Strip, half of it in May alone!
History Will Not Repeat Itself
In the summer of 1929, Al-Buraq Revolution took place in Palestine, and at that time the Arabs almost succeeded in eliminating the Zionist presence in Palestine if it were not for the intervention of Great Britain, the mistress of the seas, with its occupation forces in Palestine and others summoned from Egypt. The Zionists then realized that they could not stand alone against the Arabs. Today, America, the mistress of the world, is throwing all its forces and pouring in billions to save its base controlling the heart of the world.
Britain succeeded at that time in maintaining the Western-Zio-American project until the project became a state recognized by their international organizations. Britain foiled Al-Buraq Revolution in 1929 and the 1936 Revolution through cunning, repression, and betrayal, preserving and supporting the Zionists until they established their state in 1948. After that, America pledged to support, care for, and finance the newly born entity, making it the strongest in the region.
The West, led by the United States, thought that matters in the Middle East had stabilized and that the peoples, especially the Palestinian people, had submitted and become docile. On September 29, 2023, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said, "The Middle East today is quieter than it has been in two decades!" But "Al-Aqsa Flood" came to shuffle the cards and confuse the West and America in a way they never imagined. Today's America is not yesterday's America. Today's America has passed the stage of youth and is preparing to descend from the heights of control and arrogance, retreating within its borders. It is afflicted with economic, social, and moral diseases that will inevitably force it to withdraw. This is what Zbigniew Brzezinski, former U.S. National Security Advisor, says.
Severe Economic Decline
As Harold Macmillan says, America suffers from economic diseases that will force it to turn inward. Bernie Sanders, a prominent member of the U.S. Congress, says: The U.S. economy is driven by the needs of the rich and powerful, an unsustainable economy that revolves around the greed of the wealthy and powerful. America suffers from chronic economic diseases that have no hope of being cured, including:
– Income inequality:
This is an American dilemma with no solution, where the top 1% of income earners own 38.6% of the country's wealth, while the bottom 90% own only about 27.4%, according to the Federal Reserve. The median household income has not increased significantly since the 1970s, while the top 10% of income earners have seen a large increase, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
– Unprecedented rise in debt:
The national debt of the United States currently stands at over $28 trillion, and the annual deficit is expected to reach $1 trillion by 2025, according to the U.S. Treasury. The average American household debt is $151,000, including mortgages, credit cards, and student loans, according to the Federal Reserve.
– Rising healthcare costs:
The average annual health insurance premium for a family of four has risen by 155% since 2000, from $4,400 to $11,000, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. Therefore, the average American is forced to spend $1,200 annually in addition to healthcare expenses, according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
– The high cost of education and rising unemployment rates:
College tuition at public colleges that require four years of study has increased by 543% since 1985, from $2,700 to $15,000 annually, according to the College Board. The total outstanding student loan debt in the United States has reached $1.7 trillion, with the average student owing $31,300, according to the Federal Reserve.
According to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the unemployment rate in the United States was 3.6% in January 2023, which means there were approximately 5.7 million unemployed people in America, according to the same source.
– Deteriorating infrastructure:
The American Society of Civil Engineers estimates that the United States needs to invest $2 trillion to keep its roads and bridges in good condition. According to the Federal Communications Commission, more than 30% of Americans lack access to high-speed internet, with the cost of rural broadband estimated at around $100 billion.
The End of Hegemony
The decline of American economic and military dominance is unmistakable to the naked eye, and American influence over the countries of the world has been sharply decreasing since the beginning of the 21st century. This is what Zbigniew Brzezinski, a Polish-American geographer and former National Security Advisor during President Jimmy Carter's administration, says.
In his book "The Anatomy of National Power: The International Crisis" (2001), Brzezinski argues that the moment of U.S. unipolar dominance after the Cold War must give way to a multipolar world characterized by the increasing economic and political influence of countries like China and India. There is no doubt that this will have a profound impact on the Zionist entity, which has never done without unlimited American support in all fields.
Bernard Lewis, a zealous Jewish historian and expert on Middle Eastern affairs, mentioned in a 2006 article titled "The Israeli Dilemma" that the rise of other global powers, especially China, would lead to a rebalancing of power in the Middle East, threatening Israel's security.
Knesset member Yair Golan, a former general and Israeli politician, warned in a 2016 speech that the decline of American power would create an existential threat to Israel.
According to the Washington Institute for Near East Studies, Israeli-American strategist David Makovsky warned in 2019 that the decline of American hegemony could lead to a catastrophic situation for Israel. Israeli thinker Eli Lake wrote in a 2020 article in the Daily Beast that if the United States is no longer the dominant global power, Israel will have to defend itself against its enemies, which could lead to a horrific outcome.
The Two End Scenarios
Many experts have discussed potential scenarios for the end of the Zionist entity, the most prominent being two options: the Samson Option and the South Africa Option.
1- The Samson Option:
Israeli military strategist Ehud Sprinzak coined the term "Samson Option" to describe Israel's willingness to use its nuclear arsenal in response to an existential threat. This concept has sparked intense debate and concern among scholars, policymakers, and nuclear experts. Tamir Lebel, a leading expert on Israeli nuclear policy, has written extensively about the Samson Option and concludes that while Israel has not explicitly ruled out the use of nuclear weapons in extreme circumstances, this concept is largely symbolic and not a viable military strategy. Most analysts lean towards this view, believing that the use of nuclear weapons is unlikely except in extremely dire situations.
2- The South Africa Option:
The idea of applying the South African solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict refers to the concept of transitional justice, where the bitter, controversial past is addressed through transparency, accountability, and reparations. This approach was applied in South Africa during the post-apartheid era, and it is worth noting that South Africa was also a nuclear state.
Prominent philosopher and linguist Noam Chomsky sees similarities between the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the South African struggle against apartheid, arguing that both conflicts require a process of reconciliation, truth-telling, and accountability.
The Negotiation Network, a research initiative led by prominent American journalist Nathan Thrall, explored the possibility of applying a South Africa-style transitional justice process to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He believes this approach could lead to more lasting and sustainable peace. The late Israeli peace activist and philosopher Uri Avnery believed that the South African experience offers valuable lessons for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Even the leaders of the Zionist entity acknowledge that the permanent survival of this settler-colonial entity on this land and among these peoples is impossible. Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett expressed this when he said that no sovereign and unified Jewish state has survived on this land for more than 80 years.
Its Final Breaths
Israeli writer Ari Shavit published an article in Haaretz titled "Israel is Taking Its Last Breaths," in which he explained the deception practiced by this entity regarding its existence on Palestinian land. He said that since the Israelis came to Palestine, they have known that they are the product of a lie invented by the Zionist movement, which used all the cunning in Jewish history. By exploiting what was called the Holocaust by Hitler and exaggerating it, the movement managed to convince the world that Palestine is the "Promised Land" and that the alleged temple lies beneath the mosque. Thus, the wolf turned into a lamb suckling from the money of American and European taxpayers.
The Aqsa Flood came to reveal hidden truths, expose widely known lies, and alert the oblivious that the world has changed, not in favor of the Western-Zio-American project this time, as it did during World War II when pro-Zionist American Protestantism inherited British Protestantism, which created Zionism. This is not the only change, though it is the most prominent one, but there are other decisive changes in media, politics, and Palestinian, Arab, and international awareness.
