Warnings about the continued ban on the travel of patients and the wounded
Amid all this, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory warned of the increasing daily deaths of patients and the injured due to the blockade. The occupation authorities continue to prevent the entry of medical supplies and drugs and to destroy the health sector.
Data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health indicate that there are more than 12,000 injured and 14,000 patients in need of urgent external transfer to save their lives from imminent death.
The healthcare system in the Gaza Strip is deteriorating day by day, as it is almost collapsing due to the deliberate targeting of medical teams and the destruction of hospitals by the occupation.
