Day 236 of the Israeli Genocide War on Gaza

The genocide and extermination war waged by Israel against besieged Gaza has entered its 236th day, amid the Zionist occupation forces continuing to commit war crimes and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip, by launching dozens of air strikes, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians.

Continuous bombing on Rafah

The occupation continues its aggression against the city of Rafah, as its aircraft targeted various areas of the city, leading to the death of 15 Palestinians and the injury of others, since Wednesday morning.

While the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 6 massacres against families in the Strip, including 75 martyrs and 284 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours, the toll of the aggression rose to 36,171 martyrs and 81,420 injuries since the seventh of last October.

Prominent Resistance Operations

The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the Zionist forces penetrating into several areas of Gaza, as the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced today, Wednesday, the targeting of a Zionist “Merkvah” tank with a “Al-Yassin 105” missile near the Al-Abd Jabr junction in the Yabna camp in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said that it carried out a complex operation yesterday after luring a Zionist force into an ambush near Al-Shoka School, east of the city of Rafah, and detonating a thunder bomb there, killing 4 of its members and wounding a number of others.

Al-Qassam added: “Immediately upon the arrival of the rescue forces, our mujahideen were able to snipe two of the force’s soldiers. During our mujahideen’s attempt to capture one of the soldiers, the enemy killed him, and a helicopter landed to transport the dead and wounded during the operation.”

Al-Qassam  mujahideen also targeted a number of Zionist soldiers who barricaded themselves inside a house with an anti-personnel missile “TBG” in the Al-Shoka area, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and they sniped a Zionist soldier in the same area.

 Al-Qassam indicated that a Zionist “D9” bulldozer was targeted with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in the Tal Zorob area in the Sultan neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah.

They said that their mujahideen managed to detonate a thunder bomb against a force of 15 occupation soldiers, leaving them dead and wounded in the Al-Fedayi Stadium area in the Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

They also announced targeting two “Merkvah” tanks with two “Al-Yassin 105” shells near Khaled bin Al-Walid Mosque in Al-Salam neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, and another “Merkvah” tank and a “D9” military bulldozer with two “Al-Yassin 105” shells in the Al-Abd area. Jabr in Yabna camp, south of the city.

Al-Quds Brigades

“Al-Quds Brigades,” the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it targeted with a “107” missile a group of occupation soldiers barricaded in a building north of the Central Governorate, confirming that it achieved a direct hit.

Al-Saraya announced that it targeted a Zionist military bulldozer with a 107 missile south of the Yabna camp in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

3 Israeli Soldiers Killed  

The occupation army announced that 3 soldiers were killed and 8 others were injured, 3 of them in serious condition, in battles in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

The Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation said that the three dead soldiers were from the Nahal Battalion and were killed in an explosive device explosion in a building in Rafah, according to what was reported by the “Al Jazeera Net” website.

Algerian Draft Ceasefire Bill

The Palestinian News Agency reported that Algeria presented, during a closed consultation session in the Security Council, on Tuesday evening, a draft resolution calling on the “Israeli” occupation to immediately stop its aggression against the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Algeria's representative to the United Nations, Ammar Ben Jama, said: The text is “short and decisive,” and aims to stop the killing in Rafah.

He pointed out that the draft resolution calls for an “immediate ceasefire.”

American Official Resigned due to the Aggression on Gaza

Stacy Gilbert, a senior official working in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migrants at the US Department of State, announced her resignation due to the policies of President Joe Biden's administration towards the Gaza Strip, joining other officials who preceded her in resigning for the same reason.

 The Washington Post quoted American officials, in a report on the Arabi21 website, that the resigned official is called Stacey Gilbert. Gilbert works in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration at the US State Department. The report indicated that her resignation letter, which was sent via email, explained her point of view, and said that she was wrong in concluding that the occupation did not obstruct humanitarian aid to Gaza.
