Day 234 of the Israeli Genocide War on Gaza

The Israeli war of genocide against Gaza has entered its 234th day, with the Israeli occupation forces continuing to commit a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, by launching dozens of air strikes, artillery shelling, and bloody massacres against civilians.

Massacre in Rafah

Last night, the Zionist occupation committed a horrific massacre in a camp for displaced people west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, killing dozens, most of them children and women.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said: “The heinous massacre committed by the occupation forces in Rafah, on Sunday evening, claimed the lives of 45 martyrs, including 23 women, children and the elderly, and 249 wounded.

On Monday morning, occupation aircraft bombed a house west of the city of Rafah, killing 4 citizens and wounding others, according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).

The agency reported that occupation warplanes targeted a group of citizens on Al-Zuhour Street in the Nuseirat camp, which led to the death of 3 citizens and the injury of others.

She added that the occupation bombed the vicinity of the UNRWA shelter for displaced persons on Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah, wounding a number of citizens.

7 Massacres within 24 Hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 7 massacres against families in the Strip, including 66 martyrs and 383 injuries during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry indicated that the toll of the aggression had risen to 36,050 martyrs and 81,026 injured since the seventh of last October.

 Rafah Massacre Condemnation  

Arab and Western countries condemned the new massacre committed by the Zionist occupation forces in the tents of displaced people in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed, in a statement, the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the new “Israeli” aggression against the tents of displaced persons in the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of dozens of victims, including children and women.

They stressed that what the occupying force is doing against the defenseless Palestinians clearly reveals that it is committing unprecedented genocide and blatant war crimes in front of the whole world. They required immediate and decisive intervention from the international community, to oblige those forces to comply with all relevant international legitimacy resolutions, primarily the resolution The International Court of Justice clearly and explicitly stated the need to stop targeting the city of Rafah and provide protection for the Palestinian people.

According to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, through a statement, the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of the continued blatant violations by the “Israeli” occupation forces of all international and humanitarian resolutions, laws, and norms.

It called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the massacres committed by the “Israeli” occupation forces. To limit the aggravation of the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe that the Palestinian people are experiencing.

In turn, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry described what happened in Rafah as a “tragic incident,” and called on the UN Security Council to intervene to ensure an end to the “Israeli” war on the Gaza Strip and operations in the city of Rafah.

Jordan called for those responsible for the new “Israeli” attack to be held accountable, and a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs stated that the “Israeli” attack is a blatant challenge to the decisions of the International Court of Justice and a grave violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

Macron Angry

French President Emmanuel Macron said: We are angry at the “Israeli” strikes that led to the death of many displaced people in Rafah.

Macron added that these operations must stop, and I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire.

He pointed out that there are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian civilians, according to what Al Jazeera reported.

Challenge to International Law

The United Nations Special Rapporteur in Palestine, Francesca Albanese, confirmed that the bombing of the displaced persons camp in Rafah is a blatant challenge to international law and order, and called for imposing sanctions on the occupation to end the genocide.

Albanese said, in a post on the “X” platform, according to what was reported by the “Al Jazeera Net” website: The genocide in Gaza will not end easily without external pressure.

Albanese added: “Israel” must face sanctions, justice, and the suspension of agreements, trade, partnerships, and investments, as well as the suspension of its participation in international forums.

Prominent Resistance Operations

The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the Zionist forces penetrating into several areas of Gaza, as the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Monday that it had destroyed the Zionist forces advancing east of the Maghazi camp in the center of the Strip with mortar shells.

Shooting Incident on the Egyptian Border

Al Jazeera reported, citing the Hebrew Channel 14, that Egyptian soldiers opened fire on Israeli soldiers inside the Rafah crossing, without causing any casualties.

Hebrew media reported that Israeli army forces responded with fire as a warning.

It added, citing sources, that the incident comes at the height of tension with Egypt and may have important political consequences.

Al Jazeera said: The Israeli military censorship deleted news about the incident between the Egyptian and Israeli armies at the Rafah crossing.

Later, Al Jazeera quoted the Hebrew Walla website, saying: Two Egyptian soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire with the “Israeli” army at the Rafah crossing.
