Resistance Forces Inflict Losses on Israeli Occupation Army
The resistance in the Gaza Strip has dealt more blows to the Israeli occupation army. The occupation soldiers are also facing severe psychological crises that are affecting their ability to fight, according to Israeli media.
Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades
The military wing of Hamas, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, announced that its fighters targeted an Israeli tank with a powerful shell. They successfully hit the tank west of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades
The military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Al-Quds Brigades, reported that their fighters clashed with enemy soldiers, leaving them dead and wounded. They also seized their weapons and equipment. Additionally, they shot down an Israeli Quadcopter drone and gained control of it while it was conducting intelligence missions southwest of Khan Yunis.
Israeli Losses
The Israeli occupation army has carried out over 1,500 evacuations of wounded soldiers since October 27th. The Marom Brigade's transport soldiers have been conducting complex operations under fire, deep into enemy territory. They maintain constant contact with ground forces and medical units, serving as a link between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Psychological Crises
The Israeli army has been receiving numerous requests for psychological assistance from its soldiers since the beginning of the war. To address this issue, mental health officers have been deployed to provide support. Symptoms of shock, such as insomnia, negativity, anxiety, panic, and "survivor complex," have been affecting soldiers' performance on the battlefield. The army has developed a mental first aid protocol to teach soldiers how to help their colleagues.
The soldiers on the frontlines are exposed to horrifying and shocking scenes from the moment they engage in combat, which is different from previous wars. The mental and physical rehabilitation of affected soldiers has become a challenge for Israeli hospitals.
Israeli Casualties
According to Israeli sources, the number of dead occupation soldiers has reached 561 officers and soldiers since the start of the war, with 224 casualties occurring during the ground operation in the Gaza Strip. The occupation army's data shows that 2,851 officers and soldiers have been injured, with 1,296 of them injured during the ground operation.
The Israeli army initiated a ground operation on October 27th, which involved incursions into various areas and neighborhoods in the Gaza and North governorates, later extending to the south.
