Al-Qassam Brigades' Actions

The Israeli aggression against Gaza has been going on for 29 days now. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced some significant developments:

  • They killed 5 Israeli soldiers during clashes west of Gaza City.
  • They destroyed 24 Israeli military vehicles.
  • They announced the loss of more than 60 Israeli prisoners since October 7.

International Reactions

Several countries and organizations have responded to the ongoing conflict:

  • The Turkish Foreign Ministry recalled its ambassador in Tel Aviv, Shakir Ozkar Turunlar, to Ankara for consultations.
  • Honduras also recalled its ambassador to Israel in protest against the war.
  • The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported that 72 of its employees were killed in Gaza, making it the largest number of United Nations aid workers killed in a conflict in a short time.

Humanitarian Situation

The situation for the people of Gaza remains dire:

  • The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs as a result of the Israeli aggression has risen to 9,500, including 3,900 children and 2,509 women.
  • The occupation bombed Al-Fakhoura School, which housed displaced people in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip.
  • An Israeli drone bombed the house of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in the Beach camp in Gaza.
