11,180 are killed
It gets even worse. The number of people who were killed by Israel, martyrs, has reached a heartbreaking 11,180. Among them, there are 4,609 children and 3,100 women. It's really devastating to hear about so many innocent lives being taken away.
Hospitals and Ambulances Targeted
These hospitals were targeted on purpose, and even the medical staff who were trying to help people were threatened. Not only that, but the Israeli attacks also damaged 49 health centers and targeted 53 ambulances. It's really hard to understand why anyone would do such a thing.
Destroyed Mosques and Churches
Not only were hospitals and health centers affected, but also places of worship. 70 mosques were completely destroyed, and 153 mosques were partially damaged. Even 3 churches were targeted. It's really sad to see these sacred places being harmed.
Agricultural Losses
The attacks didn't stop there. The government office also shared that the damage to agriculture is estimated at a whopping $180 million. That's a lot of money! More than 25% of the agricultural areas were destroyed, along with thousands of fruit trees and livestock, poultry, and fish farms. It's a huge loss for the farmers and the whole community.
Schools and Government Buildings Destroyed
It's not just hospitals and farms that were targeted. The Israeli attacks also destroyed 92 government headquarters and 241 schools. Out of those schools, 61 are now out of service. Can you imagine not being able to go to school because it's been destroyed?
International Community's Role
The government office strongly condemned the international community, especially the United States, for supporting the Israeli occupation and allowing them to bomb hospitals and homes. They believe that the international community is partly responsible for the terrible things happening in Gaza.
37 Days of War
This war has been going on for 37 days now. The Israeli army has been attacking Gaza from the air, land, and sea. They have destroyed entire neighborhoods where people used to live. It's really hard to understand why all of this is happening.
