Turkish Exports Reach Record High Last Month, Says President Erdogan

Last month, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the country's exports had reached an all-time high. Over the past year, from October to October, Turkish exports amounted to a whopping $254.8 billion. In fact, just last month, exports increased by 7.4% compared to the previous year, reaching $22.9 billion.

During a speech at the "Innovalig Champions" awards ceremony, President Erdogan expressed his pride in the companies that contribute to production, employment, and export in Turkey. He acknowledged their important role in the country's economic growth.

Impressive Export Growth

In 2002, when the Justice and Development Party came to power, Turkey's annual exports were only $36.1 billion. Now, they have skyrocketed to $254.8 billion. Turkey is even ranked third among OECD countries in terms of export growth speed. Despite global difficulties and problems, Turkey's exports continue to rise.

Focus on Quality

President Erdogan emphasized the importance of not only increasing the number of exports but also improving their quality. While the numbers are impressive, it's crucial to focus on delivering high-quality products to the world.
