Kuwait Medical Association Symposium: "Gaza is a health disaster" under the microscope
The Kuwaiti Medical Society recently organized a symposium called "Gaza: A Health Disaster." This event brought together doctors and politicians, including MP Abdullah Al-Anbai, to discuss the challenges faced by the people of Gaza.
MP Al-Anbai announced plans to send a new freedom ship to Gaza, carrying politicians, media figures, and doctors, in order to break the siege on the region. He expressed gratitude to the people of Gaza for their steadfastness and principles in defending the Palestinian cause. He also thanked the people of Kuwait for their unwavering support.
The Ministry of Health's spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, assured that Kuwait's hospitals are ready to receive injured individuals from Gaza. He emphasized the importance of supporting state and community institutions in assisting them.
Dr. Ibrahim Al-Tawala, President of the Kuwaiti Medical Association, expressed the association's unwavering support for the Palestinian people. He praised the heroism of doctors in Gaza during the brutal war and called for urgent action to save the lives of civilians.
Namaa Charity continues to provide relief to our people in shelter centers in Gaza
In response to the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, Namaa Charity of the Social Reform Society has been providing aid to families in shelter schools. They have distributed over 2,000 meals and clothing to 400 children and orphans.
Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Head of the Communications and Information Technology Sector, acknowledged the challenges faced by displaced families in Gaza. He highlighted the shortage of basic facilities, such as bathrooms and latrines, which increases the risk of diseases and worsens the humanitarian situation.
Humanitarian contributions from Kuwait to Gaza, Yemen, and Bosnia
The Kuwaiti Air Bridge recently sent its 37th relief plane to Al-Arish Airport, carrying 40 tons of food supplies, tents, blankets, heavy clothes, and 3 ambulances. This effort was organized by the Al-Salam Society for Humanitarian and Charitable Works in cooperation with the International Islamic Charity and Ayat Charity Association.
Dr. Nabil Al-Aoun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Salam Charity, confirmed the coordination with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian Red Crescent to ensure aid reaches the Gaza Strip. The relief aid aims to address the severe shortage of services and materials in the region.
