The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council condemned the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and demanded an immediate ceasefire and for the Israeli military operations to stop.

Helping the People of Gaza

In their final statement, the leaders talked about how important it is to provide help to the people of Gaza. They want to make sure that everyone has access to humanitarian aid, electricity, water, fuel, food, and medicine. They even called on international organizations to join in and help too!

Ending the Blockade

The leaders also want the illegal Israeli blockade to end. They mentioned a Security Council Resolution that says it's not okay to stop humanitarian aid from getting to people who need it. They also said that using starvation as a way to fight is against the rules of international law.

Qatar's Success in Mediation

The leaders praised Qatar for its efforts in helping to make a truce agreement. This agreement is supposed to make things better for the people of Gaza. It includes releasing prisoners, allowing more humanitarian aid to come in, and providing fuel for their needs.

Stopping the Escalation

The leaders really hope that this truce will help stop the fighting and protect the Palestinian people. They want the war to end and the siege on Gaza to be lifted. They want the suffering of the Palestinian people to be eased. They also want the international community to step up and do something about it.

Working Together for Unity

The leaders also talked about how important it is for the Gulf countries to work together. They want to achieve unity and make sure that everyone is on the same page. They approved some decisions about defense and military action to strengthen their cooperation.

Looking Ahead

They're also excited that Kuwait will be chairing the next session. It's a big responsibility, but they're looking forward to it!

Qatar's Emir Speaks Out

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, had some strong words to say. He talked about how the conflict in Palestine is not about religion or terrorism. It's a national issue and a fight against the occupation.

He also said that it's not right for the international community to let this terrible situation in Gaza go on for so long. Innocent people, including women and children, are being killed. He wants the world to know that self-defense doesn't apply to the occupation and that Israel's actions are not justified.

The Emir believes that the Palestinian people should not be forgotten. He knows that true security can only come with lasting peace and a fair solution to the Palestinian issue. He wants the occupation to end and for the Palestinian people to get their rights.

He called on the UN Security Council to do something about it. He wants them to stop the war and make Israel go back to the negotiating table. Temporary truces are not enough. He also wants the United Nations to investigate the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.

Aftermath of the Truce

So, there was a temporary truce between the Palestinian resistance factions and Israel. It lasted for 7 days and was mediated by Qatar. During this time, prisoners were released, and humanitarian aid was brought into Gaza. This is really important because the war caused a lot of damage and a humanitarian crisis.

Positive Results and Stronger Relations

Lastly, the Saudi Crown Prince sent a message to the Emir of Qatar. He praised the results of the meeting between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. They want to strengthen their relationship and work together. The Crown Prince also had good things to say about the Gulf Summit.
