As every nation does, this nation has experienced triumphs and losses, good times and bad times, throughout its lengthy past. But what the nation of Muhammad is facing now is more serious than anything it has faced in the past. The nation’s enemies are now plotting against it in a "calculated" way, preparing for war with plans devised by very large minds, spending very large amounts of money, and backed by very powerful groups, even countries.
Yet we should not despair of victory, because Allah has established in both worldly and otherworldly matters laws that do not change, like the laws He has set for existence, I mean the laws we call natural laws.
They are not affected by differences in place or time: like the law of gravity, for example, which Allah established when He created the world, and which Newton discovered not long ago. It operates in lands heated by the equator and in mountains covered in snow at the poles. Just as it has existed for centuries and will continue to exist, for "success belongs to the righteous" and falsehood will perish, while victory belongs to the truth.
When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed away, the Arabs turned away from their religion, or sought to demolish one of its pillars, which is charity ‘Zakat’. Some people thought it was the end of Islam. But then one man raised the banner of the Quran and fought with the sword of Muhammad, until the apostates returned to the faith, and Islam returned stronger than ever.
And one day, all of Europe stood against us, with the Crusader armies starting in Constantinople and ending up in central Europe. Campaigns followed, tragedies intensified, and they established states and emirates in the Levant, with Jerusalem itself staying in their hands for over ninety years, until Allah decreed victory for the truth.
And the day the Mongols swept in from the East, like the Crusaders from the West, destroying countries, toppling thrones, and taking over the greatest cities on earth at that time; like Baghdad, which had two million inhabitants back then and was the capital of the world, where every luxury was brought. Its books were thrown into the Tigris until its waters turned black on both banks, but the fruits of minds, the products of intellects, and the essence of human thought remained.
And what has befallen the Muslims before and after from calamities and woes, none of it harmed them all, because they knew how to reach for the weapon (and the weapon was close to them), directing it towards their enemies.
They knew how to light the lamp (and the lamp was with them), dispersing the darkness around them. The lamp is nothing but this Quran, and the weapon is nothing but the hearts of the believers, the thoughtful minds, and the working hands that know how to prepare strength for war against their enemies, seeking thereby the satisfaction of their Lord, not just worldly gains and the last of what colonialism brought upon them.
I opened my eyes to the world at the beginning of this century(the 20th century), and no place in the lands of Islam had not been entered or surrounded by colonialism, except for this island that Allah protected from being stepped on by foreign soldiers or for their flag to wave upon it.
I used to think when I was young that it was one of the hardest things to expel the colonizers from our land, but Allah made it easier, brought the distant closer, and the country returned to its people.
Independence did not come to us effortlessly, but we sacrificed our souls and shed our blood, we struggled, fought, and did everything we could.
The great war “IIWW” ended, and we were afflicted with worse than what we were in, we were afflicted with the worst of creation and the most wretched of nations; the Jews, not those who followed Moses and believed in him, but those who disbelieved in Moses and Jesus, just as they disbelieve in Muhammad, changing their religion and becoming sects with differing paths but united in their enmity towards us.
The others do the same, when they had a stance in the war against Islam, they were all against us, between America and Russia there was what made the blacksmiths (and the carpenters, and those who make guns and cannons) work, they disagreed on everything, but when this state was established, born without a legitimate father, a deformed being called "Israel", the two states rushed to recognize it and bless its birth before it reached a day and night of age, we were afflicted with the Jews.
