At the local level, Mercy has many partnerships with Kuwaiti charitable associations, and at the regional level, partnerships with Qatar Charity and the King Salman Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and at the Islamic level, the association has partnerships with the Islamic Development Bank that exceeded $40 million in reconstruction projects in the Gaza Strip and Palestine, and had a great impact on those who deserve it, in addition to its international partnerships with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

The International Islamic Charitable Organization implemented an urgent relief project for war victims in Sudan by distributing food baskets to shelters and poor families in the states of Khartoum, Kassala, Gedaref, North Kordofan, North Darfur, River Nile, and Northern.

The project aimed to distribute 6,000 food baskets of basic and necessary food supplies to those affected, with one basket for each family, with a total number of beneficiaries reaching 36,000 people, sufficient for a month; the basket contained more than 30 kilograms of flour, sugar, lentils, rice, cooking oil, sauce, dates, chickpeas, and hibiscus.

With this project, the charity contributes to providing food supplies to hundreds of poor and displaced people who have lost their shelter, property and livelihoods, in addition to reducing the incidence of malnutrition and anemia, reducing the effects of war, achieving the values of solidarity and compassion, providing psychological support to those affected, and alleviating their burdens.

The displaced people suffer from poor economic and humanitarian conditions due to the crazy increase in prices and the growing severity of poverty, the loss of their homes, property and livelihoods, the destruction of their crops by war, and the spread of malnutrition and blood shortages among them due to the lack of food in quantity and quality.

In a new humanitarian partnership, the charity, along with 8 Kuwaiti charitable societies and institutions, contributed to the first airlift flights dedicated to Sudan relief, which came as part of the "Faz'a for Sudan" campaign.

The plane took off from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base to Port Sudan Airport, carrying 40 tons of food and medical supplies and ambulances to support and provide relief to the displaced people inside Sudan, accompanied by a relief delegation from participating associations and organizations.

There have been multiple humanitarian appeals from charitable associations and civil society organizations to work on a rapid response and urgent humanitarian intervention to alleviate the suffering of those affected and stand with them in their ordeal.

UN statistics indicate that more than 7.4 million people have been displaced inside and outside Sudan since the outbreak of the war on April 15, and the expansion of the conflict in central and eastern Sudan has led to the destruction of the most important areas of major crop production, and a significant increase in humanitarian needs according to the Famine Early Warning Systems Network.

It is noteworthy that most of the population has been displaced to the states of Gedaref, Kassala, the Red Sea, the North, the Nile River, and Sennar, where they have taken shelter in schools and some institutions, sleeping on the ground and covering themselves with the sky.
