The Social Reform Society said: The Zionist war machine continues the crime of genocide that has been ongoing for a whole year against the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and has extended to include the ongoing abuse of the people of the West Bank, and the ongoing desecration of the Holy City of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The society added, in a statement on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood”, that “the sinful Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip has left 41,870 martyrs in Gaza since October 7, 2023 AD until today, including 11,891 martyrs from children, 11,458 martyrs from women, and about 100,000 injured, and the assassination of thousands of educators, teachers, journalists, medical cadres and Palestinian scientific figures.”

The Reform Society pointed out that "the Zionist criminal machine did not stop at humans, but rather deliberately destroyed hundreds of hospitals, health centers, schools, universities, mosques, churches, government headquarters, archaeological and heritage sites, water wells, power stations, and infrastructure facilities, and pursued the displaced in their tents by bombing and burning them."

The statement mentioned that "the occupation dropped 85 thousand tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip, in a crime of genocide described with all its elements, the purpose of which is annihilation and nothing but annihilation."

The statement continued: "What is flowing in the Gaza Strip is the blood of our people who have been crying out to us for 365 days, around the clock, to provide aid with whatever each of us can from his position."

The Social Reform Society also confirmed that Kuwait has, as usual, and continues to do, its duty of supporting the Palestinian people, on both the official and civil levels, politically in international forums, and civilly through relief campaigns.

The statement added that this came as a commitment from us and our honorable country to the requirements of belonging to our homeland and nation, and with the lofty directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him and preserve him, and his loyal Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him.

The statement clarified that "the suffering of the Palestinian Arab people began 106 years ago, as they spent 30 years under British colonialism, and 76 years under the Zionist occupation, and since that time their battle for freedom and living in peace and dignity began."

The statement of the Reform Society indicated that "the United Nations and its various institutions have issued more than 900 resolutions in favor of the Palestinian people during the past eight decades, and the "Israeli" occupation state refused to implement any of them, relying on the unjust American-Western "veto", which consecrates dealing with the occupation as a state above the law."

The statement held the Zionist occupation and its allies fully responsible for the continuation of this crime, covered by the international inability to stop it.

The Reform Society called on the international community, with its institutions and organizations, especially the legal ones, to exert more real and effective pressure and to intervene decisively with practical steps that oblige the occupying state to stop its crime against our people in the Gaza Strip and all of Palestine, in preparation for holding it accountable for the charge of carrying out genocide.

At the end of its statement, it saluted the steadfast, patient, and steadfast Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, which after a year of fighting continues to be a thorn in the throat of the enemy of the Arab and Islamic nation.

As Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" enters its 366th day, the occupation forces continue to carry out airstrikes and intensive artillery shelling on the Gaza Strip, causing horrific massacres against civilians.

3 massacres against families

Local sources confirmed that the bombing by occupation aircraft targeted the homes of the Alian, Karajah and Ghafri families in the Nuseirat camp, a tent in the city of Deir al-Balah, homes in the Bureij camp, and civilians in Beit Lahia.

According to local sources, five people were martyred and others were injured on Saturday morning, as a result of artillery shelling and gunfire from occupation vehicles towards residents on Banat Street in the city of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that the shelling coincided with the advance of occupation vehicles at Abu Safiya Hill east of Jabalia camp and east of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

It added that occupation vehicles opened fire along the border strip in the Sanati and Farahin areas in Abasan al-Kabira east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The occupation army issued evacuation orders for a number of blocks in al-Bureij camp and al-Nuseirat camp on Saturday morning, announcing that it would "act with great force" against these areas, according to the announcement by the occupation army spokesman in Arabic.

The correspondent for the occupation army radio, Dron Kadoush, said that the evacuation orders come within the framework of the army's preparations for the possibility of dozens of Palestinian residents storming the Netzarim axis in order to return to Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.

Philadelphi axis

This comes as the newspaper "Al-Araby Al-Jadeed" revealed that the occupation army is continuing to pave roads and establish advanced infrastructure along the Philadelphi axis, where it has raised huge lighting poles and cranes with surveillance cameras, and established some military towers in several areas.

The newspaper quoted tribal sources as saying that the Egyptian army repaired damage to the border area between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, as a result of the occupation army blowing up abandoned tunnels near the border.

It was confirmed that Israeli shelling occurred in areas adjacent to the Philadelphi Corridor and the Rafah land crossing, while the entry of any humanitarian aid to the besieged population inside the Gaza Strip was stopped. Transportation was shifted to the Kerem Shalom crossing, which operates one or two days a week, and only 15 to 50 trucks at most pass through it on both days.

Dose of the polio

In a related context, the World Health Organization confirmed that the children of Gaza should receive their second dose of the polio vaccine starting October 14.

Russia has urged the West to lift sanctions on Taliban-led Afghanistan and called for the inclusion of its government in discussions about the country's future in direct opposition to the U.S. position of keeping sanctions against the regime in place.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a session of the "Moscow Format" consultations on October 4 that it's necessary to engage with the Taliban administration despite its lack of formal recognition by Moscow.

Despite the Taliban being unrecognized internationally, the Taliban administration's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi participated in the forum, highlighting Russia's ongoing engagement with the Taliban.

The U.S. envoy to Afghanistan, Karen Decker, said a day earlier that Washington remained opposed to easing sanctions or recognizing the Taliban, stressing that progress on human rights, particularly women's rights, was necessary before any steps toward legitimacy or economic engagement could occur.

These systematic violations, such as the destruction of reconstruction efforts, civil infrastructure, places of worship, demolition of homes and terrorizing of peaceful residents, are aimed at imposing a new reality that violates all international laws and standards,” Hain said. Hain also commended the glimmer of hope seen in the actions of some countries and companies that have withdrawn their investments, stating that “such courageous steps reflect a genuine commitment to human rights and send a strong message that the international community will not tolerate these violations”.

The ambassador reiterated Kuwait’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s initiative to launch a new international coalition to promote a two-state solution as a step towards achieving lasting peace.
