The ministry indicated that the Israeli army committed "three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip," resulting in 77 martyrs and 174 injured who arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours. Additionally, occupation forces targeted the gate of the "Kamal-Adwan" hospital in the northern Gaza Strip with an artillery shell.

Correspondents reported that the occupation's planes and artillery continued their violent bombardment on Friday across various areas of the Gaza Strip, targeting homes, gatherings of displaced persons, and streets, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The occupation forces have continued their ground invasion of vast neighborhoods in Rafah since May 7th, alongside aerial bombardment and artillery shelling, committing horrific massacres and demolishing civilian homes in the Jabalia refugee camp.

For the 77th consecutive day, northern Gaza is under Israeli siege and starvation amid intense air and artillery attacks, with a complete isolation of the northern governorate from Gaza.

The occupation forces have forcibly disrupted civil defense operations for the 57th consecutive day in the northern Gaza Strip due to ongoing targeting and continuous Israeli aggression, leaving thousands of citizens there without humanitarian and medical care.

Elder Haj Yousef Al-Zard, his wife, and their two sons along with the family of their son were martyred in a massacre by the occupation against the family in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City on Thursday.

The occupation naval boats bombed the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah city.

Two martyrs were killed when occupation aircraft targeted a house belonging to the Al-Kayaleen family in the vicinity of the Al-Maghrabi area in the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City, namely, Osama Al-Kayali and his wife Eman Al-Kayali.

The Zionist occupation forces continue to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip by launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, while committing massacres against civilians amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation due to the siege and the displacement of over 95% of the population.

Palestinian media reported that a loud explosion shook the Jabalia camp, followed by heavy gunfire and the throwing of smoke bombs around the Mosque of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, coinciding with the continued air and artillery bombardment of the camp.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated that one of its fighters was able to stab an Israeli officer and three soldiers from point-blank range in the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza early Thursday morning.

The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that their fighter managed to finish off the Israeli officers and soldiers and seize their personal weapons.

Politically, Israeli and American statements are increasingly indicating the possibility of reaching a ceasefire agreement soon, which would be implemented within weeks.

HRW: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and deliberately preventing access to water

Human Rights Watch accused the Israeli occupation of committing acts of genocide during the war it is waging on the Gaza Strip, including deliberately depriving the residents of the Strip of access to water, calling for sanctions against Israel.

The rights organization stated today in a report focused on water that "the Israeli authorities have deliberately imposed on the Palestinian residents in Gaza living conditions designed to destroy part of the population, by intentionally depriving the Palestinian civilians there of adequate access to water."

History books narrate that Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, sent four armies to Levant, each led by a different commander and aimed at four objectives: Homs, Damascus, Jordan, and Palestine. The total number of soldiers in these armies was twenty-four thousand, which included one thousand companions, among them one hundred who were present at the Battle of Badr.

Six months had passed, and the four armies were engaged in limited clashes on various fronts without achieving any notable victory. Heraclius began to assemble a great army to fight the Muslims. When Abu Bakr learned of this, he sent a message to Khalid ibn al-Walid, instructing him to leave Iraq and head to Syria as quickly as possible. Thus, he embarked on his famous journey, which remains a military mystery to this day, traversing the desert with nine thousand fighters in eighteen days—a journey that was not known at that time for anyone to complete in less than four weeks.

Khalid arrived in the Levant and found the four armies scattered, each one in a different direction. Sharhabil's army was fighting on the walls of Busrā and was on the verge of suffering a severe defeat, so Khalid came to his aid, and Busra al-Sham was opened through a peace agreement. It became the first large city to fall into the hands of the Muslims since the beginning of the campaign in the Levant. At that point, the Romans began gathering their forces at Ajnadayn(which is a location near Jerusalem, between it and Gaza and Ashkelon), and it seemed that they were determined to expel the Muslims from the Levant, as that was the largest force they had assembled for a single battle up to that time.

Khalid called the four armies to gather in Ajnadayn, and they collectively engaged in the first decisive battle in the Levant. The number of Romans was about ninety thousand fighters, which was approximately three times the number of Muslims. However, the unity of the Muslim armies under one leadership compensated for the numerical disadvantage and equipment. Thus, the first great victory for the armies of the conquest of Greater Syria was achieved on the twenty-seventh of Jumada al-Awwal in the thirteenth year of the Hijra, followed by a major victory in Marj al-Suffar three weeks later (a wide plain extending between al-Kisweh and Ghabaghib south of Damascus), then two more significant victories in Fahl and Baysan before the end of the year. In the following year, Damascus was conquered, and then Homs was opened in the second spring of the fifteenth year.

Heraclius realized that the Levant was on the verge of permanently slipping from the control of the Romans, so he spent the following months assembling one of the largest military forces that the land of the Levant had ever seen throughout history. He gathered an army of about a quarter of a million soldiers and descended upon Yarmouk. Abu Ubayda

consulted his companions (as Umar had appointed him over the armies of the Levant after the death of Abu Bakr), and most of them advised him to withdraw from the Levant, fearing for the Muslims' survival, as they numbered thirty-three thousand, meaning the Romans were seven times the number of the Muslims. Khalid ibn al-Walid suggested fighting, and Abu Ubayda agreed with his opinion and appointed him as the commander of the battle.

Until that time, the Muslims were fighting in an organized manner, with each of the five armies being an independent entity with its own leader and formation. The armies would support each other in battle. When Khalid saw the Byzantine army formed into a solid block in a unified deployment, he addressed the leaders of the armies and said: "O leaders, is there something you would do that would glorify the religion of God and bring you no shame? For this is a day among the days of God, in which neither oppression nor arrogance should prevail. Purify your struggle and your actions for the sake of God, and do not fight against a people who are organized and deployed while you are in support and spread. For this is neither appropriate nor permissible."

They said: What is the opinion? He said: Indeed, Abu Bakr did not send us as leaders of the armies except when he believed that we would prevail. Had he known what would happen, he would have gathered you all into one army. What you are experiencing in terms of division is more harmful to the Muslims than what has befallen them and more beneficial to the polytheists than their numbers. And I have known that the world has divided you. So, take care, for each of your leaders has been placed in charge of a region, and it does not diminish him if he submits to another of the leaders, nor does it increase him if he submits to him. Indeed, the leadership of some of you over others does not diminish your standing before Allah. So come together, for these people have prepared and united for a day to come that has no equal. If we push them back to their trench today, we will continue to push them back. And if they defeat us, we will not succeed afterward.

Ahmad Adel Kamal said in his book  El Nafes "The Road to Damascus," describing the two armies on the day of Yarmouk: "The Romans marched in a formation unlike anything ever seen before, and the Muslim army marched in a formation that the Arabs had never known before. Khalid integrated the five armies into a complete union, so they became one army unrelated to the original divisions. When we examine the units of the unified army, we find that each one contains elements from the five original armies. Therefore, none of the commanders on the day of Yarmouk led their own army that was sent by Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him; rather, each of the four commanders led a quarter of the unified army under the command of Khalid ibn al-Walid."

There was then a victory that was one of the greatest military victories in history, where one hundred thirty thousand of the Romans were killed, and the remaining scattered in the valleys and hills. Three thousand Muslims were martyred, and the lands of the Levant became a home for Islam until the end of time by God's command. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.

Moreover, Khalid's speech addressed to the commanders of armies in that time is still applicable to the princes in this time. If he were to be resurrected today and witness the condition of the faction leaders in Syria, he would not address them in any other manner.

O leaders, be mindful of God! This is a day among the days of God, where oppression and arrogance should not prevail. Purify your struggle and your work for the sake of God, and do not fight the Assad regime and its allies while you are scattered and divided. This is neither permissible nor rational in any faith or belief. Your division is more harmful to the people of Syria than the calamity that has beset them, and it serves the regime more than numbers and weapons do. The world has divided you, and each of you has been separated into factions. Your allegiance to one prince does not diminish the ranks of another, nor does it increase your own standing. The leadership of some of you over others does not detract from your standing before God, so come together and unify your forces and strengthen your ranks. Your enemies have prepared and united for a day that has no equivalent. If you overcome them today, you will remain victorious, but if you are defeated, you will never succeed again, by God’s decree.

On The First Anniversary, Kuwait Shines Under Sheikh Meshal’s Leadership  

 Monday marked the first anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s proclamation as the Amir of Kuwait. On December 16, 2023, following the passing of the late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Cabinet announced Sheikh Meshal’s appointment as Amir in accordance with the Constitution and Article 4 of the Succession Law. Sheikh Meshal formally took the constitutional oath on December 20, 2023, becoming Kuwait’s 17th Amir.

Career of leadership and service

Born in 1940, Sheikh Meshal is the seventh son of the late Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s 10th ruler. He was educated from an early age within the House of Al-Sabah, where his family played a pivotal role in shaping his early education. His parents and other senior family members took part in teaching him the basics of reading and writing before he went on to attend Al-Mubarakiya School, Kuwait’s first school. This strong foundation in education, fostered by his family’s guidance, set the stage for his future achievements.

Sheikh Meshal continued his studies in the United Kingdom, where he graduated from Hendon Police College in 1960. Upon returning to Kuwait, he joined the newly-established Ministry of the Interior, rising through the ranks and becoming a key figure in developing Kuwait’s security infrastructure. In 1987, he was appointed to the Public Inspection Department, where he served in various leadership roles for nearly 20 years.

In 2004, Sheikh Meshal was appointed Deputy Chief of the National Guard, overseeing major reforms to enhance Kuwait’s national security. In 2020, he was appointed Crown Prince, and on December 16, 2023, he succeeded Sheikh Nawaf as Amir.

Key achievements

Over the past year, Sheikh Meshal’s leadership has focused on both domestic development and regional cooperation. In May 2024, Sheikh Meshal made the historic decision to dissolve parliament and temporarily suspend certain articles of the constitution to reassess the country’s democratic process. Locally, he has championed several initiatives, including the inauguration of Abdullah Al-Salem University and Sabah Al-Salem University City. He also attended several award ceremonies, honoring researchers and teachers, including the KFAS awards ceremony held in December.

 Social Reform Society awarded the Golden Shield in the Grand Kuwait Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition

Dr. Al-Mathkor said: "Thank God we have won both competitions."

The Social Reform Society achieved a commendable accomplishment by winning the Golden Shield in the Grand Kuwait Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition in its twenty-seventh edition, organized by the General Secretariat of Awqaf under the slogan "Good Provision."

In this context, Dr. Khaled Al-Mathkor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Reform Association, received a call from the General Secretariat of Awqaf, during which he was informed of the association's achievement.

In a statement to "Al-Mujtamaa," Dr. Khaled Al-Mathkor expressed his happiness with this accomplishment, saying: "Thanks to God first, and then to the efforts of our brothers in the Quranic Secretariat of the association, and the youth who are eager to memorize and recite the Book of God, we were able to achieve this victory."

Dr. Al-Mathkor added: "The association has secured the third place in the competition for several years, but thanks to God and the efforts of the Quranic Secretariat, we were able this year to attain the Golden Shield. Additionally, one of our youth, Sheikh Mohammed Hamad Al-Ali, won first place in the International Kuwait Competition for Quran Memorization and Recitation in the category of the ten readings."

Dr. Al-Mathkor encouraged parents to register their children in the association, stating: "The ultimate goal is to win the pleasure of God Almighty and memorize His Book, while the awards are a recognition of this blessed effort."

A ceremony to honor the winners

Dr. Al-Mathkor announced that the Social Reform Association will hold a ceremony next Tuesday to honor its member Sheikh Mohammed Hamad Al-Ali, the first-place winner in the International Kuwait Competition, and to celebrate the association's receipt of the Golden Shield from the General Secretariat of Awqaf in the Grand Kuwait Competition.

He clarified that Kuwait hosts two main Quran competitions; the first is international, organized by the Ministry of Awqaf under the patronage of His Highness the Amir, while the second is local, organized by the General Secretariat of Awqaf.

It is worth mentioning that Sheikh Mohammed Hamad Al-Ali, the Executive Director of the Quranic Secretariat in the Social Reform Association and Director of the "Tabsera" Center, won first place in the International Kuwait Competition for Quran Memorization and Recitation in its thirteenth edition held last November, in the category of the ten readings.

 New massacre at Kamal Adwan Hospital... Intensive care unit out of service

The Israeli occupation forces targeted Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza in the early hours of Wednesday, causing a fire to break out in the intensive care unit of the hospital, the only one in the northern part of the strip.

In a recorded video from in front of the damaged section, Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, the hospital manager, said: “The occupation bombardment was sudden and intense, as the occupation machinery targeted the vicinity of the hospital, accompanied by gunfire and shells in a hysterical manner.”

Abu Safia added: “The intensive care unit, which patients dependent on ventilators rely on, was directly targeted, leading to a fire inside it. We miraculously managed to evacuate the patients, but the unit is now completely out of service.”

He pointed out the catastrophic humanitarian situation the hospital is suffering from, indicating that the interruption of water for more than 8 days due to the occupation targeting tanks and supply networks has made handling the crisis more difficult.

He explained that hospital staff tried to control the fire using simple means due to the absence of necessary equipment because of the blockade, confirming that “the situation is still extremely dangerous.”

Abu Safia also revealed that the hospital faces daily targeting by the occupation, including drone strikes on generators, resulting in power outages and damage to vital sections.

 UN: The Israeli occupation continues to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into northern Gaza

The spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, confirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into northern Gaza.

Dujarric stated in press remarks, according to the Palestinian news agency, “Despite ongoing attempts, Israel has rejected 38 out of 40 requests made by the United Nations to deliver humanitarian aid since the beginning of December.”

He noted that the attempts by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to deliver food and water to besieged areas have been repeatedly rejected, stressing that this obstinacy aggravates the humanitarian situation faced by the residents of the strip.

 UN General Assembly adopts resolution supporting Palestinians' right to self-determination

In a positive development for the Palestinian cause, the UN General Assembly overwhelmingly voted in favor of a resolution affirming the Palestinian people's right to self-determination. A total of 172 countries voted in favor of the resolution, while 7 countries opposed it, and 8 abstained from voting.

The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" welcomed the decision of the United Nations General Assembly, considering it a reflection of global solidarity and belief in the justice of the Palestinian cause, and the widespread rejection of the occupation and the criminal policies led by the US administration that disregards the rights of our Palestinian people.

The movement called on the international community and the United Nations and its institutions to overcome the unjust American will and to pressure for translating these resolutions into practical steps that stop aggression and end the occupation that weighs heavily on our people, enabling them to determine their own fate and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Hamas Leader: The ongoing security campaign by the Authority threatens the Palestinian national fabric

A leader in the "Hamas" movement, Abdul Rahman Shadid, called for support for the Palestinian resistance in Jenin, which is facing a siege from the Palestinian Authority's security forces.

Shadid stated in his remarks: "We affirm the necessity of protecting the resistance fighters and strengthening their power to confront the Zionist incursions and repel the crimes of the settlers, instead of pursuing and targeting them."

Smotrich opposes prisoner exchange deal: No time to make concessions to "Hamas"

Israeli far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced his opposition to any prisoner exchange deal with the "Hamas" movement, considering that such steps represent "surrender" to the will of the resistance.

Smotrich stated in comments to a right-wing radio: "This is not the right time to give Hamas a lifeline. We must continue to crush them until we recover the prisoners as part of their surrender deal, not ours."

Irish Prime Minister: “Israel” will not silence us from criticizing its crimes

In a supportive position for the Palestinian people, Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris said that Israel's decision to close its embassy in Dublin will not deter his country from criticizing the aggression against Gaza.

Harris described the Israeli move as "diplomacy of distraction," noting that "killing children and civilians, and preventing the flow of humanitarian aid, are the matters that the international community should condemn."

When asked by reporters about Dublin's stance, he replied: "Today, all of you are asking about Ireland's position. But what about Israel's practices? What about the practices carried out by Netanyahu against innocent children in Gaza?" according to the Anadolu Agency.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to commit acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip for the 438th consecutive day, launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, while perpetrating massacres against civilians amid a disastrous humanitarian situation due to the blockade and the displacement of over 95% of the population.

Our correspondents reported that the occupation’s aircraft and artillery continued their violent bombardment - on Tuesday - across various areas of the Gaza Strip, targeting homes, gatherings of displaced people, and streets, resulting in dozens of martyrs and injuries.

The occupation forces have continued their ground invasion of wide neighborhoods in Rafah since May 7, along with several axes in Gaza amid air and artillery bombardments and the committing of horrific massacres, as well as demolitions of citizens’ homes in the Jabalia camp.

For the 74th consecutive day, northern Gaza is suffering under an Israeli siege and starvation amid violent air and artillery bombardments, completely isolating the northern governorate from Gaza.

The occupation forces have continued for the 56th day to forcibly disrupt the work of the civil defense in the northern Gaza Strip due to ongoing attacks and Israeli aggression, leaving thousands of citizens there without humanitarian and medical care.

Several citizens were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a school behind Sheikh Zayed Towers in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

The ministry confirmed in a statement that the toll of Israeli aggression has risen to 45,059 martyrs and 107,041 injuries since October 7, 2023.

One martyr and more than 10 injuries, most of whom were reported to be in critical condition, arrived at Al-Awda Hospital due to Israeli bombardment targeting a group of citizens and a civilian vehicle near the Maqdad supermarket in the Al-Husaineh area west of the Al-Nuseirat camp in the center of the Strip.

More than 15 martyrs have risen under the rubble as a result of the occupation aircraft bombing a house belonging to the Daour family, which was inhabited by displaced persons from the Kahloot and Shalfooh families in the Beit Lahia project in northern Gaza Strip.

On Tuesday morning, the occupation forces bombed a house in the town of Khuza'a in eastern Khan Younis.

Two martyrs rose and others were injured due to the occupation targeting a group of citizens in the vicinity of Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in the Zaitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Several citizens were injured due to the occupation forces opening fire after their incursion into the Mawasi area, which shelters displaced persons west of Rafah City.

Ten citizens from one family, including children and women, were martyred, and others were injured, following the targeting of an Israeli occupation aircraft early this Tuesday targeting a residential apartment belonging to the Turk family near the Jabalia bus station in the Palestine Square area, in central Gaza.

According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, among the martyrs identified were: Haifa Turk Al-Tabatabai, Majdi Al-Tabatabai, Rima Turk Al-Tabatabai, Ashraf Al-Tabatabai, Osama Al-Tabatabai, Joudi Al-Tabatabai, Ibrahim Al-Tabatabai, and Shaimaa Al-Tabatabai.

The occupation forces continued their aggression and targeting of Kamal Adwan Hospital, where drones dropped more than 10 bombs on the hospital, while the occupation forces deployed 3 explosive robots around it. The hospital suffers from a complete power outage and a shortage of medications and medical supplies due to the repeated bombardments and the siege imposed on the area.

Simultaneously, intensive artillery shelling continues north of Al-Nusairat camp and east of Khuza’a town in Khan Younis, while the city of Rafah witnesses continuous demolition and destruction of citizens' homes.

In the southwest of Gaza Governorate, occupation vehicles opened fire heavily in the Tal Al-Hawa area, while warships targeted areas around the Al-Alam roundabout, the Nada neighborhood, and the Al-Firdaws area west of Rafah.

The occupation forces continue their aggression against the Gaza Strip by air, land, and sea since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 45,028 citizens and injuring 106,962 citizens, in a preliminary count with thousands of martyrs still under the rubble.
