Hamas Calls for Implementation of International Court's Decision
Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement, has expressed its support for the decision made by the International Court of Justice regarding the lawsuit filed by South Africa against Israel. The lawsuit accuses Israel of committing "genocide" in Gaza. Hamas believes that this decision signifies the need to put an end to all forms of aggression against the Palestinian people.
Hamas is urging the international community to ensure that Israel implements the court's decisions and stops the ongoing crime of genocide in Gaza. The movement is hopeful that the final decisions of the court will convict Israel of committing genocide and crimes against humanity.
Hamas also appreciates the Republic of South Africa's support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
Islamic Jihad Warns of Israel's Exploitation
The Islamic Jihad movement has issued a warning about Israel's potential exploitation of the International Court of Justice's delay in issuing an immediate ceasefire decision in Gaza. The movement believes that this delay may allow Israel to act without consequences.
Islamic Jihad states that the court's decisions did not meet the demand to stop the killing and aggression in Gaza and protect the Palestinian people from annihilation. The movement sees this as evidence of global forces controlling legal systems for their own interests at the expense of the oppressed.
Palestinian Authority Stresses Importance of Court's Request
The Palestinian Authority emphasizes the significance of the International Court of Justice's request to Israel to take all necessary measures to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza. This request serves as a reminder that no state is above the law.
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki states that this decision puts an end to Israel's culture of crime and impunity, which has been represented by decades of occupation, ethnic cleansing, persecution, and apartheid.
International Court's Orders to Israel
The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to take measures to prevent genocide in Gaza and direct incitement towards it. The court has also rejected Israel's request to dismiss the lawsuit brought by South Africa.
The court recognizes the right of Palestinians in Gaza to protection from acts of genocide and believes that temporary measures can be imposed on Israel. Israel must commit to avoiding killing, assault, and destruction against the residents of Gaza and ensure the immediate provision of urgent humanitarian needs in the Strip.
Additionally, Israel is required to submit a report to the court within a month on all interim measures.
