6 Options to Foil the Plans of Displacing Palestinians

As discussions intensify regarding plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, in line with the colonial vision supported by U.S. President Donald Trump, these plans emerge as part of an ongoing effort to liquidate the Palestinian cause and impose a new reality that serves the occupation's interests.

Trump's statements about relocating Palestinians to neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt have sparked widespread controversy. Since January 2025, Trump began promoting this plan, which has been met with severe rejection from the relevant countries and international and Arab organizations.

To confront this plan, coordinated strategic steps are required to ensure that Palestinians remain in their homeland and thwart any attempts at displacement.

  1. Clinging to the Land and Strengthening Resilience

The first step in countering any displacement plan lies in strengthening the resilience of Palestinians in Gaza and rejecting any attempts to leave under any circumstances. This can be achieved by supporting reconstruction projects and activating local initiatives to enhance community cohesion and fortify the internal front in the face of pressures.

  1. Escalating Resistance in All Its Forms

Resistance, in all its forms, remains a key option to prevent the displacement of Palestinians. Palestinian national unity and the coordination of efforts among various factions constitute a source of strength in confronting any external plans. Additionally, escalating resistant actions—politically and militarily—reinforces deterrence against the occupation, making it realize that displacing Palestinians from Gaza is not a feasible option, but rather will lead to further escalation that it cannot bear.

  1. Political and Diplomatic Action at Arab and International Levels

At the political level, there must be effective Palestinian and Arab initiatives to thwart any displacement plan, through pressure on the international community, activating international laws that criminalize forced displacement, and engaging with major powers like Russia, China, and countries in the Global South to garner political and diplomatic support for this cause. Furthermore, Arab countries should utilize their tools in the United Nations, the Security Council, and global human rights organizations to expose the occupation's plans and curb any U.S. moves supporting this project.

  1. Igniting Popular and Media Mobilization

Mass and media mobilization is a fundamental factor in thwarting the displacement plan. Organizing demonstrations and protests in Arab and Western capitals, creating global media momentum through social media, and pressuring governments to take decisive stances against displacement are all necessary steps.

It is also essential to produce documentary materials and news reports that highlight the dangers of displacement faced by Palestinians and the region, shedding light on its catastrophic implications. This would embarrass the governments supporting this plan and create a pressing public opinion to halt it.

  1. Strengthening Arab Support for Gaza

Gaza cannot face this conspiracy alone; Arab and Islamic countries must take immediate action to provide Palestinians with the means to endure by offering urgent financial and humanitarian aid, pressuring to lift the blockade imposed on the Strip, and finding diplomatic solutions to alleviate the suffering of the population.

Moreover, Arab countries, even those that have established relations with the occupation, must realize that allowing the displacement of Palestinians will open the door to grave consequences threatening the stability of the entire region.

  1. Boycotting the Occupation and Its Supporters

Economic pressure on the occupation and any parties supporting the displacement project constitutes an important leverage. Intensifying campaigns for economic, cultural, and political boycotts, withdrawing Arab and Islamic investments from companies that support the occupation, and imposing diplomatic isolation on the Zionist entity are all steps that can influence the occupation's calculations.

Thwarting the displacement plan requires a comprehensive Palestinian and Arab movement that combines internal resilience and effective resistance, political and media mobilization, Arab and Islamic support, and economic and diplomatic pressure.

This plan is not merely a threat to Palestine; it is a colonial project aimed at redrawing the region's map in favor of the occupation, necessitating the mobilization of all efforts to confront and thwart it before it becomes an imposed reality.
