The Israeli occupation forces continued to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip for the 468th consecutive day, carrying out dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, and perpetrating massacres against civilians, ignoring calls for a ceasefire in the days leading up to the implementation of the ceasefire agreement that will come into effect next Sunday.
Intense bombing
Correspondents reported that the occupation's aircraft and artillery continued their intense bombing on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, targeting homes, displacement gatherings, and streets, resulting in dozens of martyrs and injuries.
Ground invasion
The occupation forces have continued their ground invasion of large neighborhoods in Rafah since May 7, 2024, along with several fronts in central Gaza amidst ongoing air and artillery bombardment. Since October 5, they have also sustained their third invasion of northern Gaza under continuous air and artillery shelling, completely isolating the northern governorate from the city of Gaza.
Hampering the work of civil defense teams
Moreover, for the 84th consecutive day, the occupation forces have hampered the work of civil defense teams in northern Gaza due to ongoing bombardment, depriving the remaining citizens there of the most basic levels of humanitarian and medical care.
Recovering martyrs
The civil defense reported that its crews recovered two martyrs and a number of injuries due to the targeting of an Israeli warplane on a home belonging to the Barsh family near Al-Omari Mosque in Jabaliya, northern Gaza Strip.
Two citizens were martyred due to the bombardment of an Israeli occupation house in Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
Several citizens were injured when the occupying forces bombed the home of the Abu Shakian family in Block C of the Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
The Israeli artillery shelled the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza.
Young man Moamen Yasser Arbaee died due to wounds he sustained from an Israeli strike over a month ago.
At least two martyrs fell, and over 30 were injured when Israeli planes targeted the Al-Falah school, which shelters displaced persons, in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.
