The military expert  Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi says that the Israeli army's announcements about casualties in the Gaza Strip are false. They are lying. He says that a report from Israeli media shows that around 16,000 soldiers have been killed, which is a lot more than what the army is saying

The Israeli army has reported that over 240 soldiers have been killed and more than 1,400 injured since they started invading Gaza last October. They are now calling for 14,500 more officers and soldiers to join their forces. Al-Duwairi thinks this request makes sense if the real number of casualties is as high as the report suggests.

Al-Duwairi also mentioned that the occupation army has been facing losses in battles with resistance groups in Gaza. They recently had to withdraw from a neighborhood in Gaza City after failing to control it. He believes that after such failures, the army often retaliates by committing massacres and causing destruction.

Just today, the Israeli army announced that 5 officers and soldiers were injured in battles in Gaza. There are also reports of heavy losses in an ambush in Khan Yunis, a city in the south of Gaza.
