European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, increased marginally by 0.88 points, or 0.19%, to close at 463 points.
London's FTSE 100 rose 54.8 points, or 0.71%, to finish at 7,613.
Germany's DAX 30 fell 93.8 points, or 0.65%, to end the day at 14,424, while France's CAC 40 was down 85.9 points, or 1.28%, to 6,645.
Italy's FTSE MIB decreased 215 points, or 0.86%, to close at 24,960.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, soaring 102.5 points, or 1.20%, to 8,623./agencies
