Environmental Disaster Warning: Communications Towers on Citizens' Homes
Hamad Al-Matar, Chairman of the Environment Affairs, Food and Water Security Committee, raised concerns about the presence of communications towers, particularly on residential properties. He considers this a major environmental crime that poses health risks and threatens citizens' security. Al-Matar believes that telecommunications companies hold more power than the government and urges authorities to monitor these direct dangers to public health.
Interrogation of the Minister of Public Works
Dr. Mubarak Al-Tasha, a representative, has officially submitted an interrogation to the Minister of Public Works, Dr. Amani Bougmaz. The interrogation focuses on four main issues:
- Failure to complete and maintain roads
- Suspicions of corruption, profiteering, and conflicts of interest
- Wasting public money and laxity in collecting late fines from contractors
- Violating the Constitution and the law and ignoring responses to parliamentary questions
