We Are All Qatar

We were not at all surprised by the
treacherous attack carried out by the Zionist enemy to assassinate the Hamas negotiation
delegation. This attack reflects the utter disrespect of this usurping and
treacherous entity. History is repeating itself—just as Quraysh and its allies
besieged Medina during the Battle of the Trench, and the Jews of Banu Qurayza
betrayed the Muslims and allied with the polytheists against the Prophet ﷺ and the
believers. As Allah Almighty described them: {Is it not (true) that every
time they make a covenant, a group among them throws it aside? But most of them
do not believe.} (Al-Baqarah 2: 100)
Greater Israel
Ever since the Prime Minister of the
Zionist enemy declared the so-called “Greater Israel,” we expected another
reckless act. What matters now is not just the heinous act itself, but the
reaction to it.
There is no doubt that the strong
response from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
countries—considering Qatar a member state and that any attack on it is an
attack on all—was significant. Arab and international reactions were also
commendable.
Insistence on Aggression
But more is needed. There must be a
way to deter this war criminal, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is internationally
wanted. He committed this treacherous act solely to sabotage the ceasefire
negotiations in Gaza. If an agreement is reached, his future is bleak—and
prison awaits him.
This moment calls for a real stance,
far from political and diplomatic niceties. First and foremost: halting
normalization with this entity and recognizing it as an enemy. The Arab League,
the GCC, and the
Organization of Islamic Cooperation must issue a decision to cancel all
agreements and treaties with the usurping entity—Camp David, Oslo, Wadi
Araba, and all bilateral, commercial, and tourism agreements.
This entity sees us—Muslims and
Arabs—as its enemy. So why do we extend an olive branch only to be answered
with missiles? We all remember the October War of 1973 and the use of oil as a
weapon, and how the world was stunned by the firm Arab stance. Today, we
possess other tools—halting normalization and canceling agreements. As the
proverb goes: “One hand alone does not clap.”
United we stand, divided we fall
All Arab and Muslim peoples must
be fully prepared to stand with their leaders for the liberation of Palestine
and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. This includes boycotting the usurping entity,
refusing to engage with it, and providing Arab and Islamic alternatives. Kuwait
offers a living example of comprehensive boycott of every product linked to
Zionist companies.
The visits by leaders and heads of
state to the sisterly State of Qatar after the aggression represent significant
moral support. But an emergency GCC session must be held in Doha to show real
support. We hope a decision to halt normalization will be made at this
conference.
And we say: We
are all Qatar. We stand with Qatar. And we remind ourselves: “I was
eaten the day the white bull was eaten.”
