Systematic Policy to Mislead Global Public Opinion
It’s a Genocide in Many Forms, not a Ceasefire Deal with Violations
With a high level of systematic policy, the US and Israel attempt to erase and change the mentality of the international community to improve their image through:
- The
peace conference in Sharm al-Sheikh to consolidate Trump’s plan at the
expense of the recent UNGS meeting and the international storm of
recognizing the State of Palestine.
- Launching
a huge media campaign by writers, analysts, and channels with different
languages to reduce the morale of the Palestinians and the resistance, in
favor of increasing the morale of the Israeli army and the political
echelon there.
Reframing Genocide Through Language
Recently, they instructed the campaign to praise the ceasefire
deal by intensifying words like “parties” and “violations,” to erase the
genocide and its details from the world’s memory. Furthermore, they have begun
calling the Israeli strikes “self-defense operations.”
The Ceasefire Lie and Its Hidden Crimes
We have to bear in mind that the ceasefire deal is a big lie that is used to hide the truth and the reality in Gaza, to numb the international community and to cover up for more crimes like closing the crossing borders, preventing the entry of medical teams, aid trucks, and foreign journalists, depriving the injured and sick people from leaving for treatment — not to mention that the starvation is still ongoing because of the blockade, coinciding with the continuous strikes on the displaced tents and streets.
Misleading Dialogues and Image Rehabilitation
- Holding
side conferences between some Palestinians and Israeli people, like the
former Prime
Minister Ehud Olmert, about the two-state solution to show the
world that there is no problem with the perpetrators of the genocide, but
the problem is just with Netanyahu. This is the misleading game to
renovate the image of Israel.
The Roots of Responsibility Within Israeli Society
However, they forgot that the Israeli army comes from the
Israeli society, and all of them elected Netanyahu — as
they elected Ehud Olmert, who perpetrated crimes against Gaza in 2006 and 2008,
and against Lebanon in 2006, to the point that he expelled thousands of
Palestinians from Jerusalem and demolished thousands of houses under several
pretexts when he was the Mayor of the city.
Scapegoating and Palestinian Complicity
Israel got used to this policy to emerge as a scapegoat, and
it used all cards to serve its purposes — including using some Palestinians who
seek privileges in exchange for playing the dirty roles at the expense of Palestinian
rights.
Aid Flotillas and Diplomatic Manipulation
The Israeli occupation
used its attacks against the aid flotillas to enhance relations with countries
— including those who cut off their ties with it — under the pretext of
coordinating to release the activists from Israel’s prisons, like their policy
when they allowed countries to carry out an airdrop of aid previously.
Confronting the Policy: Legal and Media Resistance
The perfect way to face this policy is to intensify the
pressure on governments, the ICC,
and the ICJ by launching protests, conferences, and filing lawsuits against
Israeli politicians and soldiers. Also, to launch media campaigns to expose
Israel and the US, to stop all aspects of the genocide, and to bring the right
of Palestinians for a state with sovereignty — and hold Israel accountable.
Naming the Crime: Genocide, Not Diplomacy
Trump and Israel are liars. It’s a genocide, and they are
still carrying it out implicitly and explicitly in several sectors.
Final Question: Will the World Normalize Genocide?
Will the international community be fooled by Trump's attempts to make the world get used to genocide as if it were routine?
